- The staff are lovely, the room very comfortable. Air con and everything worked efficiently.I especially appreciated the armchairs and coffee table in the room so we could watch TV in comfort.And coathangers in the wardrobe ?The room is big enough to do yoga or stretches.There's also an outdoor table and chairs.I swam in the pool, it was surprisingly cool on a 40 degree day!Dinner at the pub was excellent .. good food and drinks at a reasonable price.

Cons -
- Its tired throughout, and Bar/Restaurant needs refreshing or at least a damn good tidy up. The owners lack any warmth or welcome, but Bar lady made up for them.
- The hotel has been refurbished since our last visit, and it looks much nicer.It was great value then and it still is a fabulous place for an overnight stop, especially for the budget conscious traveller.
- The pool wasn't clean so we were a little disappointed that we couldn't have a summer swim.

Great pub, great food.. excellent quiet accomodation with very comfy bed & spacious motel rooms. We are return travellers & recommend staying & eating here highly. Lovely stop & town on the Hume. Great views too.
Great pet friendly stopover between Sydney and Melbourne. Clean and quiet with a great meal at the local adjoining pub. Perfect stopover with the kids. Pool was an added treat for a cool off on arrival.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff
Perfect place to stopover on our road trip to Sydney. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Being able to stroll over to the pub next door was a bonus, with great service and food.
Nice rooms set slightly away from the pub so that even on a Saturday night we didn't get much noise. A great place to stop off the Hume, have a meal and a drink at the hotel and get some good sleep to keep driving. Appreciated that the pub had some clearly marked gluten free meals as I'm coeliac, made life easy!
Nothing really, just a nice motel
We stayed overnight before heading home to Melbourne from Sydney. We travelled with 4 kids so a stop was a must. We had dinner at their pub. Dinner was great and beer was cold, just what we adults needed after a long drive. Room was clean and comfy.
Cheap, clean and closer to food.
I didn't pay attention as we drove in, so I had to figure out where the reception was.
5 min off main highway. Quiet and comfortable.Bonus of hotel meal right next door.Excellent place to stop on road trip to Sydney
The restaurant next door was amazing. I had a great meal there! The room was large and so comfortable and was great accommodation for my dog. You are close to the highway but far enough not to hear it. Will definitely stay again!
I liked everything, the only drawback was there isn't much there just the hotel and pub. Holbrook is close by so it isn't an issue.

The room was very clean, even under the bed! The carpet was very clean . It was quiet and spacious. We really enjoyed our one night stop!

It was very clean and comfy. Special thanks to the blond girl working at the bar who was particularly awesome and although we didn’t win the meat raffle kindly let us take selfies with the meat!
Everything was great!
Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Such a quiet location too. It was easy to have dinner at the pub attached to the motel. There's nothing else around for miles but that's part of the attraction.
Close to the road
Our bedroom did not have blackout and was very difficult to sleep in it because all the safety lights turned on all night.
