Grange Burn Motel

The arm chairs. The one thing that is missing from most hotel rooms is somewhere comfortable to sit. Being able to sit in comfort and watch tv was a bonus for this type of accommodation. The Gardens were beautiful too.

The room had a toaster but the 2 plates provided were barely big enough to hold a slice of bread and a microwave oven would have been nice. Not being able to turn the tv to face the chairs was annoying.

Updated bathroom, new carpet, feels much fresher than last time.

Need more cutlery - only one teaspoon, two forks and knives. No bowls, no ice tray to make ice. Always a bonus when you open the fridge to see a tray of ready made ice. Thankfully the kind manager gave us some from his own freezer. Need a sponge to wash dishes - soap provided but nothing to wash with. More lighting over the fridge/microwave area, it’s very dark in the rooms! The upgraded tv to Foxtel is cool but the one in room 23 was super glitchy. We’d press a button and sometimes it either wouldn’t work at all or would literally take about 15seconds to respond. The last smart tvs were better and we could just stream Netflix etc.

Very comfortable spacious room. Everything was clean and we were happy with our stay.

We loved the large spacious room and it was very well appointed. Very spacious bathroom with a double shower. Parking was adjacent to the room with plenty of vehicle space.

Water pressure in the shower was non-existant, being slightly more than a dribble. Very, very disappointed.

Nice clean place to stay great location Only neg was the air conditioner from the room next was extremely loud and cut in and out unfortunately for me they keep it on all night so I didn’t get much sleep

Excellent facility. Large room with everything supplied. Quiet room off the main road and foxtel included. Easy commute to centre of town. New owner who is happy to assist guests. Will return when next in the region

No room service as advertised so no breakfast available

The buildings, facilities, beautiful garden areas, ex restaurant area now meeting /possible reception area all thoughtfully designed. Rooms were spacious. TV and kitchenette facilities were adequate for a quick breakfast and everything worked. The beds were comfy. The shower was excellent and the long bathroom powder bench very welcome.

The airconditioner was efficient but quite loud.

Very clean, large rooms , really comfortable bed. Easy friendly check in. Plenty of car parking, good location.

Large room, Comfy bed, Reception allocated a room and said we could use our slow EV charger from the external wall socket. Slow but it gave us a small top up which was appreciated

Kettle quite tall and didnt fit under the tap in the bathroom so had to fill it up via the coffee cups. A/C was quite noisy and didnt seem overly effective

No food available as neither the "kitchen" or the "bar" were in operation as the property was / is under new management.

I was Lucky enough to upgrade to a king room for free but would pay extra for the room regularly Located on Really nice grounds that’s a convenientlyGreat location Nice privacy ( brick walls) Clean Staff accomodating for late check in I Travel a lot for work and the price that was like 110 for the night considering the quality is better than lots of 200$ + a night places I’ve stayed Super comfortable( really weird but had a nice extra blanket that wasn’t that beige wooly one) nice soft fluffy blanket ) Will definetly be staying again next time I’m in town

It may be helpful to have lines for parking spaces and potentially 1 designated space per room, unless I couldn’t see because of the dark and rain. ( I’m not sure I was trying to think of something negative but I really couldn’t )

Lack of facilities - web site not updated to say that the Restaurant has been permanently close. Housekeeping staff had strict orders on what could be in the rooms. There was not enough cutlery, glasses, pillows, towels etc for 2 people even though I had booked for 2. Appears that the hotel is struggling financially.

This is a quality hotel. The rooms are large, in very good condition and very well kept.

Had everything you needed for a one nights stay came with bottle of milk and biscuits

The room was very well appointed. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and we had everything we needed. The parking was close by and the view from the window was lovely

The host was friendly, however complained about me using booking.com to book the room which I found a bit confronting. The room check out time was 10am, the host noticed that I had begun to load my car around 9am and stood at the doorway to hurry my mum and I up. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I understand that he had to clean the room, but I wanted to use the bathroom before we left, but he was in the room.

Arrogant owner. Triple room didn’t have a single bed as pic depicts. Blamed on this website. Had to make makeshift bed on floor from couch. Reluctantly offered another room the day after, when i asked do i complain to bookings.com!
