Budget on the Lake

The location was very convenient — within easy walking distance to the hospital.

Parking was sometimes difficult, and there were occasional disturbances from other guests, which affected the overall quietness of the stay. The room and facilities could use some maintenance, There was some mould on the windows and curtains that really needs attention. Hopefully, these areas can be improved, as the place has good potential.

Rooms have been updated recently. Care is very obviously placed into room preparation. Very efficient sign-in process with access code and sign-in details sent via SMS.

It seems the tile installation in the bathroom may have not yet been finished, as there's a large gap under the windowsill - but that really can't be considered a problem.

Great value for money. Clean, comfortable, easy to check in/ check out, good communication with the hotel, quiet.

What breakfast, we brought our own! I wasn't aware that breakfast was available.

access to the unit was a little difficult, requring mobile phone (what would you do without it), and email text.

Needs a counter top alongside vanity sink and toilet to put toothbrush and toiletries on and a higher vanity tap so you can fill the kettle up

Great location for where we had to go. Close to shops.

Heating didn't work well and electric blanket was poor heat.

No breakfast supplied, that was ok. View of the lake and location was very good, everything was within walking distance

The cleaning was good but could be improved, marks on the wall near the toilet and when I walked in the room smelt of an old wet rag, so I bought items to remove the smell.The door handle came off in my hand and was to be fixed that day, when I returned my door was left ajar and the handle wasn't fixed.The shower dripped constantly

Bbq not been cleaned for long time birds poo everywhere

Beds were comfy. Good pillows. Hot water good. Couldn’t fit kettle under only tap in the room which was over the basin in the bathroom. Lights over main bed didn’t work. Room had been spray painted and paint over windows and trims. Also on skirting boards and carpet in bedroom. No seating to watch the only tv. The only seating was 4 very high bar type stools with no back rest. Not comfy to sit on or watch tv from. People don’t drink tea or coffee. So hot chocolate sachets would be a good option. Plenty of power points with and without usb points was pleasing.

Close to town

Owners not on site. I had to call them as there were not coffee cups in room or milk

The kids got a little cold in the second room of the family room, but they lived.

Budget didn't cover it at all. 1 glass in the fridge for 2 people staying, very ordinary. I booked in December for an event at the end of March, supposedly payment at arrival but they deducted it when I booked. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all in one smelt like toilet cleaner.

It was very comfortable. The fact it had a couch as well as table & chairs was a bonus. There is a bbq which we used most nights.

Room was clean and neat. gentleman that met me on arrival was very nice and friendly. Beds pretty comfy.

I will most definitely be staying here again. When I arrived to check in, the staff were so helpful and friendly. I was given Room 2 and considered it a 10 out of 10 for me. The room was immaculate, clean and tidy. Bed was so comfortable I literally fell asleep as soon as I dropped into it.Shower pressure in this Room was perfect!
