Pros +
- Nothing to like other than leaving 10 minutes after checking-in.
- Cleanliness. Modern design. Cosiness. Helpful staff.
- Staff was friendly
Cons -
- Old, noisy, smelly, towels were grey and worn out thin.
- Housekeeping only available until 12PM. Toilet not properly cleaned once, but attended next morning once informed reception.
- This is more so an issue with booking.com, but we did not get the room that was advertised and booked on our end. The hotel was at full capacity and had nothing they could do to resolve the issue. The room we stayed in though was not very clean. We were only in the room for about 5 minutes before leaving, but the bathroom didn’t look very clean and the bin by the toilet had not been taken out after the previous guests and the items left in the bin were pretty gross. Overall very disappointed with our booking

I liked how clean bathroom it was. i liked the USB charging port.Liked the soft blanket and clean pillow and sheets.Liked the staff at reception, very friendly and helpful.
No toaster. No cutlery. No plate or bowl.Bed way too soft, uncomfortable.Hot water took nearly three minutes running to get hot in shower.Doors from other rooms closing at night was very loud and noisy inside the room(which explains why you left earplugs for guests)
Location and the rooms
Hot water in the shower was bit challenging
The room was fine. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful.
Coming from north qld the heater was slow to warm up the room. However it's a first-world problem.
Comfortable modern clean staff all lovely and accommodating
Road noise could do with double glazing
Friendly staff and comfy beds. Location was good and walking distance to Woolies and Dan Murphys
Room above ours was a bit noisy and the sound resonated into our room
Clean accommodation ideal for short stay and the bed is great.
every time we arrived, the door couldn't be opened with the provided card so we had to go to the reception and get the girl to open it for us!
Staffs are nice. The night we stayed had faulty fire alarm, so it woke up all of us to gather in front of the hotel. Firefighters came to check but no fire, luckily. We all are pretty ease at it and no problem to go back to sleep.
Lol. Woke up in The middle of the night with fire alarm.
Typical Australian pub accommodations in a small town . Place was basic but tidy .
It’s not a vacation destination but it’s a decent clean spot to stay the night if you’re passing through .
Clean & quiet
The sink in the bathroom was way too small. Try to wash your face or shave and water goes everywhere! Had to move the toilet paper!
The bathroom was well sized and having a fridge was great. The locations was perfect for what I needed, and the pub was nice.
The mattress and bed in general was terrible quality. Very lumpy and soft. The room was also lacking anywhere to sit, but that is perhaps expected given the cost.
The location
The noise, you can hear other people snoring from a different room. You can also not only hear them flush the toilet, but them peeing in the middle of the night as well. The smell of our room and the smell of the bathroom ?.The bed was meh. Planned on staying 2 nights. Paid extra to find somewhere else to stay on the second night. In two words, just no.
Good sized room, comfortable beds, great food at the hotel next door, offer complimentary water bottles and ear plugs.
Black mould in the bathrooms and a fan that couldn't keep up, ceiling was dirty and looked like it had a sticky substance, piling up dust throughout the surfaces on rooms. We requested a room clean mid way through our week-long stay - towels replaced, dirty dishes still left in the room, toilet paper not replaced although was very low, after asking for more a number of times we ended up having to go buy toilet paper from the woolworths down the road.. very noisy, can hear everything from the rooms next to and above, car traffic noticeable as on a main road. Also had tape covering the smoke detector in the room.
Bad
We arrived the day before Easter Friday. The hotel had informed us in advance that the reception would be closed the next day and left an emergency contact number. The next day, my child accidentally locked our room key inside the room. I started calling the emergency number in the morning, but no one answered, for the all day, until the evening that someone finally picked up — it was a security company, and they said they couldn’t reach the hotel manager and were unable to help.Fortunately, a cleaner came by in the evening and helped us to open the door. Even on the next day when we checked out, the reception still closed. I can’t imagine how we would have made it through the night without that cleaner. This is by far the worst hotel reception experience I’ve ever had. There’s simply nothing worse. I strongly advise against staying here. There are many better options in the area — stay away from this place.
Room was clean and spacious, pub had great food and awesome friendly vibes Plus thoughtful room amenities including ear plugs and lollies ?
Close to pub for drinks and dinner with trivia
Noisy neighbours
Location and a bonus with Dan Murphys next door ?Huge bathrooms!Staff were friendly except for a cranky staff member, not amused having to deliver a drink to my room via room order, and decided to make her frustrations felt by banging on my door as hard as possible!
The single room was really, really tiny! It also has no cupboard or hanging room, and it is almost impossible to navigate around the bed with your luggage on the floor. The bed was more akin to a child's single, very disappointing! The room also has no soundproofing, and with the pub noise downstairs, you'd be hard pressed to get any shut eye until after 10 pm.
Great location
Right next to stairs. Bang, bang, bang we heard every step day and night and walking/running along 2nd level balcony. Horrendous noise. Ear plugs provided help to block out noise but you're not using them all the time. Thankfully plenty of sightseeing. One of the 2 queen beds booked had shrank to a double.
