Park Hotel

Loved that there were only 3 accommodation rooms - made it feel very boutique. The fresh renovations are fantastic. Loved the room style.

The shared kitchen facilities are fine - but the tiny stool table provided is a bit misleading and crowds the entrance to the kitchen a bit. Otherwise - no issues.

Spacious and clean.

No elevator to access upstairs luggage. One room lacks toilet doors. I requested two separate beds, but this was not provided. Staff gave us incorrect information about check-out time.

Lovely room with a shared kitchen. Staff was friendly and communication was easy and good. Comes with free bacon, eggs, toast, cereals etc for breakfast which was a nice surprise. We ate at the nice restaurant downstairs. Overall, a lovely stay.

Huge room, nicely appointed. Breakfast supplies were a big surprise - we thoroughly enjoyed cooking the bacon and eggs and having the coffee pods. The room was quiet. Great bathroom

The pub itself doesn’t have much character so we didn’t have a meal there and was a bit out of the main strip. Some multigrain bread would have been perfect.

The room was very spacious and comfortable and it was great having a kitchen on the same floor to prepare meals in.

You need to be prepared for a couple of flights of stairs to get to the rooms

A beautiful and spacious room. Comfortable king size bed. Self contained kitchen where you could prepare your own breakfast was included. Meals at the downstairs pub were reasonably priced.

Clean and spacious room. Very welcoming staff.I liked the communal kitchen! It was well equipped with utensils, cutlery and DIY breakfast with a generous amount of cereal, toast, eggs and bacon provided. Slight noise from the bar which settled down after late, did not bother us. Overall, positive experience and would stay again!

Lovely big room and make-your-own breakfast space. Building shared with slot machine area and bar, but it was a quiet night.

A great hotel/pub stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a huge bathroom. The breakfast area was good for a B&B experience. The pub noise wasn't too intruding either.

Central location, easy to park, nice big rooms with a very nice bath.

Bed wasn't comfortable, there wasn't any physical separation between the main room and the living room (where the kids slept)

NO DOOR FOR BATHROOM / TOILET. My wife chose not to come with me ... I'm glad she didn't, as this is one aspect that she would have found totally unacceptable. No clear indication it would be like this when I made the booking. THe property should make this more clear for prospective guests to avoid very embarrassing situations.

Smooth check in, huge room, excellent coffee! Breakfast included was a bonus with a help yourself, well stocked kitchen of cereal, bacon, eggs and toast. Clean and comfortable. Exceeded my expectations for the price.

The room we had the Pierce Suite was very spacious and pretty well appointed. The breakfast food available to cook in the communal kitchen was a great idea, and very welcome to start the day of a long drive. Food in the restaurant for evening meal was also very good.

It was a bit difficult to find the right way in to find the reception. There are no signs from the car park where you can find reception.

The room was spacious and functional. The shower was huge! The community kitchen was fantastic - we had the bacon and eggs that were supplied for breakfast for dinner! There was also a washer / dryer to use if needed.

We were Ok with this but just so others know - the rooms are on the top floor with two flights of stairs. The shower in the morning was at best luke warm - not sure what affected this as our shower the night before was amazing and hot!

Good location

I had messaged the hotel about check in at 8 pm , but was getting late and l called up the reception to tell them I would be in by 9:30 and l was assured that the reception is open till 10 pm and to enter through the rear entrance .We reached at 9:20 , the rear entrance was locked , we entered though the gaming room but the lady at the counter had no idea how to check us in ?! She took almost 30 minutes to hand over the key . Nobody had intimated her and she had no idea . Furthermore the kitchen was stinking badly and it was a terrible feeling to even step in there .

Comfortable good size bed. Clean. Good size room.

No separation between bathroom and bedroom.
