Blue Lake Motel

The room was big enough, a nice shower, free coffee with cookies every day :-). Staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convinient. Close to what we wanted to see in Mount Gambier. We liked the fact that they had a kitchen.

The kitchen didn't have a lot of pans and wasn't cleaned every day.

It had everything I needed. It was almost perfect.

The cleaning staff threw away stuff that I needed. The staff were not helpful and took it as important thing. We had to drive away to find what I needed. The cleaning staff didn't empty the bins, didn't vacuum the floor, but they threw away my belongings

The price

Reception was only open a few hours each day. Room was dated and not like the photos.

Bathroom was spotless except on the day of arrival the toilet sink was blocked.

Room wasn't serviced 2 days in a row, shower leaked all over the floor, towels smelled, some of our stuff was thrown out, bed uncomfortable, lounge stained, no freezer in the bar fridge. Dirty coffee cups on arrival.

Very reasonable price. Good shower.

Wifi kept dropping out. Rusty mirror.

Low cost, but the cleanest and updated modern motel I have stayed in at a very budget friendly cost. Staff were very accomadating and helpful

Everything was fine. At first with a difficult parking situation towing a trailer they were extremely accomadating and given the oppotunity would return

Its very good value for money, the room has kettle, toaster, microwave, cuttlery and crockery.They provide instant coffe bags, sugar, tea an biscuit.The bathroom also has shampoo, conditioner, soap, shave cream and lotion.Bed is confortable and they also have a TV (not smart) and an old fashion AC that works good.Staff was friendly and polite.

The shared kitchen was not very clean and it was quite empty, we were looking for a bowl and it was none.

Perfect location and the reception was brilliant. Well set onboarding instructions and brilliant for allowing lat check in.

Clean room, good view, had all we needed. Liked we could open the windows and have fresh air, as didn't need the air con.

The room and bathroom were small but otherwise okay, and appeared to be recently renovated. The group kitchen was dirty, badly appointed. The TV wasn't working there, and the stove was dirty. I had difficulty washing up because all the cloths and sponges were revolting. They need to keep on top of the functionality and cleanliness, or close it down. The grounds were messy and need some work also.

The room was nothing special, but served our purposes. The location of the motel to the blue lake and the sink hole was very good.

The T & C’s of accommodation could be described as somewhat ridged( $200 security deposit, a strict check out time and written statements of potential later charges for repairs at the management’s discretion.The security locks could do with an upgrade.

Quiet, clean, kitchenette

Noisy fridge. The switches on the bedside lamp seemed a bit dodgy.

Payment process: Requiring a credit card upfront feels outdated; there are more secure and modern ways to store payment information.Cleanliness: Improved cleaning processes are needed. The remote control had visible dried residue on it.Maintenance: Several power points were not functioning. This meant the bathroom fan could not be used for ventilation, and the bathroom power point was unusable.
