Copthorne Hotel Palmerston North

The room was spotless, quiet and very comfortable. It provided for all our needs.

I have had two hip replacements and I had to be very careful getting up into the shower. it is quite high off the ground. There was no handle to hold onto for such a high climb and I was a little worried about slipping.

yeah was good. the hotel is dated but still great for what it is good size rooms and bathroom great ac and friendly staff over all satisfied with my stay and will stay again for business trips

dated lift. the fact i had to pay 5$ for tomato sauce

We stayed for one night to break up the journey to Wellington. Plenty of free parking, close to main road links and pubs and Woolworths where we could buy drinks and snacks. The check in staff were friendly.

Lifts seemed a little dated and no usb sockets in the room so you need to use adapters.

We had a great stay. Check in was a breeze, our room was beautiful. Best sleep in ages the bed was amaze. Everything was superb

Bed was comfy, room was spacious and had the required amenities for a comfortable stay.

TV couldn’t connect to Netflix or screen mirror from phone to watch something other than Freeview tv. Shower took 5+ minutes to heat up to a comfortable temperature

Breakfast because Christmas period the breakfast was to expensive time you buy a coffee cereal and your main not worth it

The location, the friendliness of the staff and the facilities were perfect for what I needed on my business trip. Highly accessible by car and on foot around the Square.

There is a bit of construction on neighbouring properties but it was closed due to Xmas break. Will be even nicer when that is finished.

Very clean, new, spacious room, everything was just perfect.Self service laundry was in walking distance.

Old and run down. Bathroom old and shower pressure terrible. Only 1 chair in the room for 2 people and to get a chair brought up. Would not stay here again. Not value for money.

Resturant was good - room was roomy.

We had a $250 a night Suite and the Shower was over a bath tub. When we asked to adress this we were told we had to go to an standard room.

Clean tidy loved that it was a 24hr check because decided to book whilst on the road

The hotel is old and tired. It was refurbished about ten years ago but needs a major overhaul. They made an error with our booking and we ended up in wrong room so had to return to the lobby to sort it out
