It was within walking distance of where I was having my course which is why we booked but it was also within walking distance of many other amenities.My room was serviced every day which, while not expected, was really lovely.The place was clean and very comfortable. Nice and quiet.

The security latch on my bathroom window was broken. I came home on the first day and the window had been opened, I am assuming by housekeeping, but it did mean that it wasn't secure.It also meant that I was unable to leave the window open to air out the bathroom after my shower.

Great motel for an overnight stay. Super friendly staff and check-in, very clean, spacious and well equipped rooms. Great value.

The beds were really comfortable, the room waa spacious, plenty of on site parking, check in and check out was smooth, and great location for town and the airport.

They have scaffolding up, which I do recall reading somewhere so that is fine, but the first morning (a Saturday) work started at 0730, clanging away and it woke me up.

It’s was really close to town and it had everything we need it.

The kitchen doesn’t have a kitchen extractor, so when you cook the smoke detectors might turn on. We wanted to cook some steaks and with a tiny bit of smoke the detector went on. With a extractor that could have been 100% avoidable, it was a stressful and made the process of cooking difficult.

The room was very good, enjoyed the spa bath and the water pressure was very good.

Could hear the water in the pipes throughout the night. Woke me up a few times.

Great location - the walk to Pak'n'Save or Burger King was only couple of minutes away, and the city centre was an easy stroll.Being located off the main street meant that there was less traffic noise, too.The unit was very clean and tidy.Thank you to the owners for a nice overnight stay.

The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, which was odd, but perhaps it was too sensitive to people's cooking?

It's a must we stay at the Camelot when coming to Palmerston North, this is our fourth time using this motel to stay and every time my family & I come here we receive excellent service.

There's always room for improvement, what they are I'm not sure at this time.

The place was within walking distance to places to eat and handy to the large shopping mall. One of the few places in New Zealand that keep up the maintenance of their property. Their rating was accurate whereas most of the places travelling through the north island are very tired looking and need a bit of tender loving care.

It was clean with plenty of room to suit our needs. The kitchenette was great as we prepared meals there

There was no body wash. The body wash was empty. I booked this spot thinking it was near Massey University.The location was convenient to Pak n Save and walk down to the Shopping Center.

Lovely and large space which was ideal for a family. It was really nice having an outdoor area and having two separate toilets plus the bathroom with shower/spa bath was amazing. Having a castle theme on the exterior was really fun for the kids. I would absolutely stay again (in Autumn or Spring, unless aircon is installed upstairs as well).

A bit dated but reasonable condition, it would benefit from an update. We stayed in mid-summer and there was a definite lack of cooling available upstairs - we found some fans but they weren't at all sufficient and the unit would really benefit from a heatpump (with aircon) upstairs, in addition to the one downstairs. The upstairs toilet also had no soap dispenser installed which needs to be rectified. The outdoor area would benefit from some fencing between units - with small children in our family this was a little problematic.

LED lights which cause headaches due to unsafe levels of emf (electromagnetic frequencies.) The bedside touchlamps emit 13x the recommended safety levels and recommend changing back to old incandescent bulbs. (The emf activates the spike proteins and growths of vasculary clots being found by embalmers worldwide).
