I would recommend this Hotel to any one:It is our first choice How ever in saying that there is room for Improvement:First impressions make a huge impact on people:Having someone at front of house: Reception:Who can communicate well understands the kiwi culture and has top administrative skills and can speak English really well would would make a huge improvement: It is the Amenities at this Motel that make this place attractive:While the property is clean Tidy the staff are friendly friendly and doing their best, the reality is that it is way over due for a complete face lift: I do believe that they are slowly little by little doing that with updating the interiors of the units: That is great: Just for what it might be worthHaving better skills admin etc. would make the insure that until the remodeling was finished they would maintain a more solid base to build on:

Well presented and clean rooms. Bed was cosy

Nice and clean, spacious unit. Friendly reception staff.

Nicely appointed room, also extras like bath robes were a nice touch. Was cleaner than most motels.

Only complaints were those common to most motels in NZ, lighting always too dim or bulbs not working, never enough face cloths

Very Handy to city, very clean and had all that we wanted and needed for the weekend.

Nice room everything was clean and tidy.

Bed could have been bigger

the bed was small for a double?, the bed was not comfortable. the couch was also small. our room was not serviced , we spent 3 nights there so we ended up making our own bed. the room next to us were noise we could here the spa going at 1am. when asked for gym keys they never gave. Suggestion gym suna and squash keys should be given on check in or dont bother advertising in facilities. wont be staying here again

Great location. Lovely comfortable warm room with spa pool.

Bed was uncomfortable. Could feel the bed springs. The kitchen cabinetry is a bit battered and draws get stuck on one another. Dodgy flickering kitchen light. I don’t like the soap dispensers are very cheap and tacky, no luxury toiletries. Bathroom fan system doesn’t work well.

We enjoyed the staff at the front office. Very courteous and polite Asian woman. We liked the room and amenities. The bed was comfy. Kitchenette was very well appointed. The hot tub was amazing. Loved it, great size and depth. The shower pressure was amazing! Sky tv with most channels. Awesome walking distance to town.

A little bit pricey. Arnt they all. Breakfast was ok but expensive and small. The soaps gave my partner irritation.

Proximity to city

Kitchen rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied on arrival.Paint is peeling in bathroom and in shower cubicle.

The fan in the toilet was a bit noisy and took a while to turn off Couldn't find the switch to turn the spa on - a sign with instructions would be good ?

we were a little early arriving and felt shooed away but our fault for being early

Good to have a gym available and private spa in room for family.

Beds were a bit to soft for our liking

I liked that they a hot tub spa inside the room had a gym and sauna onsite to use and very good, staff was good to an extend the lady couldn't understand English properly the man was good.

The smell of the room I got was like it wasnt cleaned it smelled so badly ,than it said wifi is unlimited only to face problems with Internet not working than it's working and it's not its frustating, the showers had scum of not being cleaned and carpet had a awful smell ,the price it's pricey and what was delivered wasn't that good, I think if they cleaned the rooms properly and made it more welcoming for the guest and that I'll definitely give them a 10/10 rating. I had to go out of my way and buy some nice smelling candles and etc to make the room smell good adleast and I cleaned the showers with some cleaning products which I bought coz I couldnt shower in that ,Tbh the kitchen could do with Adleast decent size pots and frying pans etcI was bitten with fleas all night and my poor son had been bitten by fleas,I would definitely stay again if they use peoples feedback to improve their quality of cleanliness ,and service and make sure you check the room before giving it out to a guest.

Close to town, quiet, tidy

Have a sore back, and had to stop for a sleep 1hour in an 5 hour drive

The people next door partying till 4am throwing up outside and the after hours number was a recording as I rung a 3am.This is our second time here we come once a year for fire brigade competitions may look at another place.

Clean and modern enjoy having good selection of channels

The spa was so lovely, the whole family loved it. Staff were great. Wish we were staying longer! The location was a win too, close enough to the centre to walk.

There we're no normal tea bags.The biscuit is usually a 2 pack. However, the packet we had available was open with 1 biscuit missing.
