Kauri Court Motel and Apartments

All the reviews were spot on. From the reception to check out, everything was perfect. Neil was the host with the most and helped carry our bags to our room. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Good walking distance to the Esplanade in one direction, then the square the other way.

Nothing to see here

Great location handy to CBD. Friendly staff and very comfortable and spacious room

Comfortable spacious room, good location, friendly and helpfully staff.

Great stay at Kauri, this is my 3rd or 4th stay there and its always great. Lovely helpful and friendly owners, the bed is comfy, aircon cold and very quiet.

Nothing!

The friendliness of management, nothing was a problem, clean and well serviced

Comfortable bed, clean, friendly staff, good parking spaces, good value for money, loved being on the ground floor

We would like a fridge with a proper freezer compartment. Leaving the motel difficult to avoid the bottom front of the car scraping on the road.

Excellent location. Super helpful & friendly staff. Very clean. Great size room. Excellent shower (hot water is VERY hot, be careful).

Bed is very uncomfortable

Great spot very handy to down town. And the best owners ever. Even carried all our bags to our rooms and lots of great advice on the local area

Very good

The shower door displaces the bath mat. When you open the shower door to enter the shower, the bath mat is swept aside and you cant step on the mat when you exit the shower. This matters as the tiled floor of the bathroom is very cold.

Easy to find, clean, great facilities with exceptional staff. Will stay again - highly recommend.

Nothing - it was great

Spacious unit. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Quiet. Welcoming host. Easy walking distance to the Esplanade bush walk and rose gardens.

Fabulous owners Very large room Quiet but handy to town

3rd time we ha e been here, consistently clean and friendly. Will stay again A+

Nothing, it was all just fine.

Genuinely friendly people that made me feel special even though I stayed for only 1 night. They offer a great pre-order barista coffee service! Wish I’d read the info before I went to sleep. I would happily re-book there any time. Super clean!

Quiet, clean and very comfortable beds. Friendly hosts.

The kitchen / bathroom was a little dated

The Cleanliness of the rooms, spacious, the shower was amazing. The beds were so comfortable and we had the best sleep after a long day of sports. The hosts were awesome, advised us of where to get the best ice cream, things to do etc. Check in hassle free. Motel was so close to everything which was perfect. I highly recommend Kauri motel and I'm extremely fussy, so to finally find a place that ticked all my boxes, this will definitely be our go to from now on. 10/10

Nothing not to like was perfect for us.

Spacious unit with comfortable beds, good shower etc.Heat pump appreciated as weather was cool.Good off-street parking.Friendly managers.

Bathroom heater and heated towel rail could not be turned on.

Great hosts, a friendly welcome, wonderful clean room, spa bath, easy ground floor access, bright, warm, tidy kitchenette, helpful recommendations of places to eat and things to do and see.

All good, we liked everything

Apartment was clean and tidy alot of space

It is an excellent place. We are very happy to be here. The owner is a very nice guy. He advised and gave us useful information. We will tell our friends to be here if they have a plan to visit Palmerston.
