Fitzherbert Castle Motel

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfy. The room was clean.(Dated but that is fine)

Absolutely everything about this place. Warm friendly welcome. Large room... no squeaky doors or floors. Very comfy bed. We'll equipped. Even had the lady do our washing for us for a charge which was very kind and unexpected. Quiet considering on a busy road. Excellent value for money. Exceptional place. THANK YOU

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good facilities

Location, room size and price were great

Everything was a little tired, could use an facelift

Have stayed her a couple of times now and have a favourite room. Always no problem when I book and ask for that room. Comfortable bed, good off street parking, gorgeous bath. So many great things.

Friendly staff. Close to town and shops Comfortable

Loved the service, staff very friendly and room size bigger than most studio units. Very clean.

Would prefer milk be complimentary on a three night stay rather than having to pay for and extra bottle.

Always a great stay at the castle, I asked if I could check in early this visit as we had a wedding to attend and they were more than accommodating, allowing us plenty of time to get ready, very appreciated, our go too for any palmy visits

Loction is awesome. Can't be it. Parking on site.

Tv wasn't a smart tv Very dated in the bathroom Shower head in room 16 should be changed as it only has massage mode as the rest are broken Wifi was patchy

Staff extremely helpful. Good position.

Crack in shower base, nowhere to put soap, facecloth or shampoo. No detergent to wash dishes. Sky TV only, limited viewing for us. In need of update/maintenance.

Practical housing which is what I was looking for in this space. It was clean and accommodating.

I had hoped the room was a bit larger.

Cool-looking place! nice, cosy and shaded by surrounding trees, short/easy walk to multiple food options and shopping. The Victoria Esplanade is also walk-able, and you should!

Bed was a tad low and stiff, but that's possibly only my opinion, I felt the spa bath jets were going to disturb the neighbouring rooms, (noise/vibration) so I didn't use them for my bath but still good!

Excellent value for money and very clean. Private with plantings outside our ground floor window. Offstreet parking

Heating is a bit outdated (electric heater) and presumably there would be very little airflow in summer (maybe there are fans available?).

Good location, comfortable, staff were great.

The plumbing was really noisy from other rooms and road noise quite loud.

Near town

Bath shower is dated

Super convenient location. While on a busy road, no road noise with windows shut. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed.
