Helpful host. Great views. Well equipped. Beautifully clean

Very modern with great space. Like new. Very good parking also. It’s not far from the park and beach. This is very much worth a visit. Sandra in reception was delightful and the most knowledgeable person we have met re routes and places to visit. She asked about our trip and where we still had to visit. She offered us much more local advice than found in any book.

Although the property was new and well kitted out the Anex out front of the building suffers from excessive road noise. It was a difficult sleep in what was comfortable surroundings.

We arrived late but they put the key in the door and turn the lights on for us. It was clean and basic just what we needed for one night on the road. We got a little more than we expected. It was a good value for the money the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Bed was a bit saggy, dated furniture. Slight smell of damp when first walking in but the room was very clean

Great location, nice roomie comfortable room. Staff were lovely. Do need to close doors and windows overnight though as there is a fair bit of traffic and goods trains noise. Soundproofing is pretty good. Happy to stay again.

Very Clean and great amenities provided. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great location with restaurants, cafes, shops all in walking distance. Lovely walks and beautiful green spaces nearby.

Great location and super friendly staff. Staff helped us with directions to see the little blue penguins, dinner options, and alternate route to Christchurch. Highly recommend The Oxford restaurant. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

The location, the view and the place was very clean and tidy and well presented. Carolyn bay is virtually just across the road and a very short walk which was a bonus as our daughter had recently injured her ankle and wasn’t to keen on big walks.

The fact we didn’t stay longer.

Nice view and great location. Reception is very kind offering lower level based on my specific requests. Reception recommended the point to see blue peguine in her honour.

Booked a Two-Bedroom Apartment with Spa Bath, it was clean, and in a great location. Minimal traffic noise, and close enough to walk to the Carnival, the playground, and the penguins (though minimal came in). Would recommend, and would stay here again

the place was impeccably clean. great to have a bottle of real milk in the fridge along with good plunge pot coffee. the bathroom included a bath and a shower and was modern and spotless
