Historic, central and Justin host could not have been more helpful
Very accommodating for us while we worked overnight and needed to catch some early morning sleep. They let us check out on the last day late so we could be fresh before driving.
Just the stairs to get up are a killer lol
Value for money. Clean and comfortable.
Staff member told us we'd have to go back to Launceston for dinner as there was nothing open in Longford. We just got a pack of chips and some jerky at the bar after unpacking our bags. We then found the pizza shop was closing in 10 minutes. Bar staff ordered pizza. We were too late.
The rooms were clean and modern, great for a one night stay in a country pub.
The pub didn’t have a bistro which would have been handy but we were told this on check in.
Nothing at all.
Horrible location, car park was full and hard to access when we got there (around 3pm). We had clean sheets on the bed. Pillows were old and horrible. The whole room was filthy. Bed head had a thick layer of dust. Bathroom floor was dirty. Microwave was dirty. Wasn’t game to even make a cuppa. The tea, coffee and sugar canisters were dirty inside. Quite a few holes in the walls.
Very comfortable and clean room. With plates, cutlery, fridge and microwave. Working air con too.Nice pub downstairs and great recommendation to try the Sticky beak cafe across the roadEasy access to room ( up stairs) Quiet even on busy nights
Limited parking when the pub is busy
The location was good. Right in the middle of the main street of Longford and only 20 mins into Launceston. There was parking available on site and I could walk to get food, etc. It is a bar so there was a little bit of noise but nothing to disturb me. I also liked having a window that I could open to get some fresh air into the room. Everything was very clean. The check in and out process was easy.
Not something I didn't like, but the room doors were a bit squeaky and I was hoping that I didn't disturb others as I left early in the morning.
Good location. Within walking distance to eateries
Loud music and noise coming from the beer garden late at night
I liked how close it was to the Airport. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
My own fault for not doing enough research on the property/hotel. Our room was right above a bar. Therefore the outside bar noise was a factor on both the nights we stayed. The stairs are also hard going with suitcases.
Good stopover point between freycinet and cradle mountain Well-equipped and comfortable
Curtains were a bit dusty Walls were porous, not sound proof at all, we could hear people talking next door and traffic outside
Great room, comfy bed, nicely decorated, had tea coffee and microwave, fridge, toaster, great shower. Nice aircon, good tv
Not great for disabilities, with stairs to get up
Jeremy the owner was professional and friendly and super welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and I could open the window for some fresh air. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe here as a sole traveller passing through a lovely town.
Nothing, only a small maintenance thing was the soap pump dispenser needs repaired.
Good location. Good price. Good facilities. Clean.
Some of the other guests were noisy in the corridor late at night.
Small, old hotel. Rooms have been modernized and are quite good. Shower was very good. They have worked hard to provide good a accommodation.
Unfortunately access was by staircase, which is quite steep. Not really much they can do about this. Carpark at rear is unsealed and rough.
Didn't have breakfast.... facilities were good, but it was VERY NOISY and we certainly didn't sleep a lot during the night.... hence the lower score.
Location was central in Longford
The wheel chair accessible room is unfortunately surrounded by the pub car park. Very noisey late into the night as patrons hung around with music coming from cars. Owner aplogised and offered to move me if he had another room. By then I decided to find somewhere else. Remaining rooms I understand are fine. No food available also not ideal but options within walking distance.
