Beachfront Voyager Motor Inn

The speed of the staff being so helpful . I arrived early and i didnt expect my room to be ready but i checked anyway and 15 mins later they were ready for me.And the view, amazing. Thank you

Perfect location across the street from the beach. Quiet. Restaurant attached, more a close walk. Beautiful beach with boardwalk. 2 block easy walk from the bus stop. Tiny penguin nesting site at end of boardwalk, with docents to help you see them at dusk. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Most rooms do not face beach. No Uber available and taxi service not responsive to automated system. Be sure to talk to a rep for quick service.

Main part of the unit was good. Placement of one of the beds directly under the aircon made that bed uncomfortable for the guest in it, whilst the rest of the unit was an enjoyable temp. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was close to the beach. Car parking was great.

The small balcony felt unclean and appeared to be a smokers area which didn't make it an area we wanted to be in. The bathroom was really dated and uninviting. The toilet made a very loud noise when flushed. The external stairwell up to our room had a dingy and dark feel.

Good location with good restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance.

Good location, 5 minutes away from penguin spot.

I have to booked two rooms for total 3 of us due to no family room available from Booking.com. I even emailed the hotel and asked for if family rooms would be available. No reply from property. When I arrived they gave me 2 family rooms. We wasted a room. Not happy!!!

Reception closed earlier than expected so we were unable to submit out breakfast menus.

There was someone smoking on an adjoining balcony and the smoke came into our room. So we had to shut door and stay inside

I booked an executive room which had a balcony and view . It was on the second floor, there is a lift.Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was great. The room had frig, tea and coffee etc. Room service breakfast was really good and reasonably priced. The restaurant was closed as it was Easter Day, however menu looked good for future bookings. My son lives in Burnie and we wanted to find a great place to stay and we have.

Room was small but quite adequate. Perhaps there could have been more chairs on the balcony.

Beachfront location. Good sized room.

Expected a large window view for a beachfront room. It was 2 tall narrow windows with one corner window looking directly into neighbouring room balcony so not much light in the room, even with the curtains open. Very dated decor.

Service was amazing with very accommodating staff. They allowed us to put our stuff in the room before check-in time.The room was spacious with great views.The elevator was quick and conveniently located.The shower was hot and decent pressure.Dinner was easy to access and the on-site restaurant was delicious.The location is great, very central to everything.

The decor is a little dated and the carpark can be tight if it's full.

Location, fantastic beach hotel next door, I’ve never seen such great meals . The variety and choices, unbelievable. My meal was exceptional.

Wi fi Hopeless but that seems to be a Tasmanian thing .

The convivence and the staff were amazing at lengthening our stay due to unforeseen circumstances we had.

Parking was a bit tight as far as not a lot of it.

Well located opposite the beach the room was a decent size although the shower left a bit to be desired, in fact the bathroom was considerably small.Bed was comfy and staff were very helpful.

It was a very short overnight stay in Burnie as we were in Tassie to see our son rowing at Lake Barrington. We were greeted by Lee who was very friendly. The motor inn was dated on the outside but our room was large and comfortable and we overlooked the beach! The price was very reasonable. We were able to walk to dinner and then along the boardwalk to see the little penguins going to their burrows. The whole visit was a delight.

The accommodation was good, staff very friendly, close to the beach/penguins and a short distance to shops etc. Highly recommend this place.
