Pros +

  • Ok
  • Good communication, friendly staff, public transport nearby
  • Proactive and friendly communication, owner was very helpful and available at any time, he kindly helped as with extra heating as we were cold due to unforeseen bad weather. Room is small but has everything that's needed for a short stay

Cons -

  • Ok
  • We had a shower outside the room, was private but you need to go a bit down the stairs which is not very convenient and on top a boiler is shattered with another room. We were lucky that nobody was staying there otherwise hot water would be quite limited. This part of the city is not really touristic so did not find good restaurants and each time needed public transport to go out. No shampoo or a small mirror in the room which is a bit pity for a girl. We asked for hair dryers and got it as there were not many people staying but were explained that usually it is only for those who stay in sweet
  • The bathroom not because it's separate, but because it's old and seem not easy to clean properly.

Nice place with good restaurant (but expensive). Beautifful living room that we can pass time, excelent breakfast.

The bathroom not because it's separate, but because it's old and seem not easy to clean properly.

Amazing roof top garden, helpful and kind stuff, good breakfast - beautiful furniture in the shared place for breakfast, parking in the street for free

Small bathroom - but if was good enough for us

Loved the location in the Medina and the riad. I wanted to stay.in an old, small traditional home -and that is what I got!The staff was very helpful in accommodating my needs and overall fantastic! Enjoyed the terasse in the am and pm l.

I liked everything!

The location was fine, but you cannot reach it directly by car; you can park nearby though. They were a bit out of towels because of trouble with the cleaning service, but managed to offer some solution. The breakfast was very good and the staff firendly and helpful. Nice views from the terrace.

The property was ok, but the rooms, and especially the bathrooms could be cleaner. The rooms were also a bit dusty because of the pillows and carpets, which was a challenge for my allergy. It's difficult to ventilate given the arhitecture of the place.

A very nice comfortable place. My room was very clean and spacious. We loved Sabah and Hammas the couple that manages the Riad. They are so incredibly nice and accommodating. Excellent breakfast every morning and the dinner is fabulous. I want to go back there. We had a brilliant time. Thank you!!

Hassan and his wife were very welcoming and did everything they could do to make my stay comfortable. The Riad is very clean and the food good. They serve wine. Hassan acted as a taxi driver/guide when he wasn’t busy with other things. The view from the rooftop terrace was lovely. It is a short walk to the beach. It was very secure.

If it had been hotter I may have wanted air-con, but it was fine when I was there.

The staff (Sabah and Hassan) are very nice and supportive. The location is accessible to tram Station and to Rabat.

The surrounding is a bit noisy at night

Nice owner, the city is very clean and this Riad adds an antique look to the experience.

Cousy and quite place of stay with very nice terrace, Hassan is a very welcoming and decent person and his wife with the worker are very polite and friendly,, When I did extend my stay they complementary upgraded me to the suite which was a very kind of themI really appreciate that

Great building, athmospheric room, nice decoration, lovely rooftop. Breakfast was okay and looked great; msemmen, baghir, cake and toppings. Very friendly and hospitable reception. We got good advice on parking, which is not easy nearby the riad.

The room was small and, even though it was clean, we found two dots of hair on the floor. We had our own bathroom as booked, but it was in the hallway, a few steps down. And it was really small, more like a converted wardrobe.

The owners are such warm, nice and friendly people. From the moment we arrived they greeted us warmly, and gave us a free upgrade for a better room without even asking. The building itself is beautiful, old (in a good way!) and authentic Morrocan, and our (upgraded) room was nice and comfortable. The shower was great, and the beds were comfortable. There's a really nice terrace on top with different areas you can chill, but sadly there's no real good view which would really upgrade it.Our breakfast wasn't big, but tasted good and had everything you'd need.

We didn't really like that the door is always locked, and that you need to wait for someone to open it manually - it would be nice if they can install a keypad or combination lock or just give us a keyAlso, our internet was quite slow in our room, and so was our phone reception, so we had to go to the terrace to use our phones properly to get better reception.

The Riad was very beautiful, and I appreciated the upgrade to a room with two beds.

The staff didn’t speak English, only French and Arabic, which made communication difficult.

Friendly staff, comfy spacious room. Amazing breakfast 10 minute walk to the train station.

Bad

First of all, communication seems to have been really bad as the patrons where confused when we showed up at the property although we had a reservation. The room was cramped with distasteful decoration, was very smelly and dirty. The hole facility had seen better days. Essential things as reasonable beds or enough warm sheets where missing. We stayed in a room meant to be for three people, but the third person was sleeping on a hard sofa and the sheets where to light for this time of year. There was no way to close the window properly so it did not feel safe to leave valuables in the room. Overall I cannot recommend this place at all.

Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade because it was quiet and we had accidentally booked the smallest room. The upgrade was nice. The manager of the Riad gave us a tour of all the rooms and of the rooftop terrace. The terrace was the star of this Riad. Very beautiful with a lounging chair and many sunset opportunities. Breakfast was delicious, we were served a lovely little Moroccan breakfast in their cozy seating area. The couple dealing with the Riad couldn't do enough to please their customers. They truly elevated our experience.

A few of the facilities need maintenance attention and improvements. Some if the plug sockets need to be reinserted as they are very loose. However, they worked just fine. The bathroom had an unusual setup and due to our lack of Moroccan knowledge of shower drains stoppers, my husband flooded the shower. The manager of the Riad stayed in the hotel until midnight because they want to lock the door and need to let their guests in and out. We didn't have an issue with this as we didn't plan to stay out late, however this could be a problem for some other guests.

Beautiful Riad in an ideal location on the edge of the Medina, close to good bus/tram/ferry connections and near the beach.Excellent restaurant on site. Staff were fabulous,Bed was very comfortable, we had a Junior Suite. Decent shower with plenty of hot water. Typical Moroccan breakfast was plentiful.
