Great location. Helpful staff on reception.

No window in my room. Everything needs an update including beds.

Fairly basic but clean and conveniently located hotel near the port and beach area/

Very cheap, so can't really expect anything luxurious. Room was clean

Bathroom window couldn't be closed and the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke so bad. Furniture was very retro and noise from the streets wasn't blocked by windows

The location near plaza farray & 3 minutes walk to the long promenade & beach at las canteras IS fabulous .As pointed out by previous reviews , the hotel is dated & old fashioned , but there is an element of nostalgia & retro charm about It. The bed & linens were extremely comfortable . Big King size bed & Windows that open straight on to the lounging terrace ( 5th floor/ room 504). The only room that has that advantage .If your looking for boutique chic or luxury , this is not the place for you.Its quaint budget price , is ideal for an overnight stay or long weekend. Breakfast we didnt order there as we love finding the local tapas & cafés down the winding alleys .Family ran hotel , with " Abuela " in charge at reception .

Sadly no service tray , containing kettle, cups & saucers etc , to make a morning coffee.Hardly any plug sockets to charge phones etc....A lounge / bar área , that sadly doesnt function . Maybe in days gone by , but just a museum piece now .

The location is absolutely perfect.You are only a 10 min walk from Santa Catalina park,bus station etc and 5 mins from las Canteras beach.Víctoria ,the owner is so charming too

I didn't dislike anything..This was our second visit to this hotel .

Bath room like at the old lab in hospital. Room has no windows to street.

Noise from street and ajoining room, moved room next morning a bit quieter. Lack of electrical points in the room, had to unplug Tele to charge phones.

Good position. Staff are good. Place for my bicycle.Nice shower.

Dodgy electrical socket. Over all shabby. Smell of smoking in the room (it seems to be allowed as there was an ashtray in the room).Lighting hardly good enough to read a book in bed.My room opened on to interior space and other guests were noisy till 1am.

Friendly and helpful staff every day! We traveled with our 18 month old daughter and that was not an issue at all at the Olympia. We were given a cot upon arrival and could store her milk in the fridge. It's just next to Plaza Farray and lots of cafes nearby for breakfast. Would recommend!!

It’s noisy in that area of city in general

The location is excellent - just 2 mins walk from the seafront promenade with plenty of bars and restaurants. Right outside of the hotel are cafes, bars and restaurants so the lack of catering in the hotel was not a problem.Just a 20 minute walk from a large, modern shopping centre.Everywhere in the hotel was clean and both the bed and bathroom linen were immaculate.

The decor is a little dated.

The staff are fantastic and the owner she is super lovely and very accommodating. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Plenty of bars and cafes to go after 10.30am 2 min walk to the beach. Great area to stay. The square can be noisy but at the time of my visit the island was in level 3 so they shut at midnight.

No kettle to make a coffee in the morning or at night. Especially as nowhere is open for a coffee nearby at 8am.

Central location close to all the bars in Farray and the beach. Because it is in the middle of everything the place is very loud. If you are a good sleeper it shouldn't be a problem.

Very basic facility, no plugs near the bed. Had to change room because the first one wasn't cleaned.You can't enter in the middle of the night, you need to ring the bell and wait for someone to let you in.
