Hotel Rural El Mondalón

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rural Mondalón. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The setting is absolutely beautifulThe room was spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, with a very comfortable bed.The most important was the staff, Agustin, Pino and Patricia were warm and attentive throughout my stay, always ready to help or offer recommendations.

Loved the character of the old vineyard. The rooms were spread out and quite. I wouldn’t have changed a thing except stayed longer

The hotel is lovely and we can park free. The accomodation included varied breakfast and the coffee was perfect :) The hotel is located near Las Palmas, 15 minutes by car. The staff is very kind. I recommend it to everyone.

It's a very authentic and beautiful stay. The atmosphere is very calm. This is a perfect place if you want to have some rest during your trip. The staff are friendly. There is always enough parking space. It is very secured. Very nice swimming pool

During the day, the room is dark. There is little hygiene in the bathroom, especially in the shower. There was a gecko in our room, and you can hear them chirping all night. After telling the staff about it they looked at me as it was the most normal thing in the world so we just adapted. The fridge makes noise, and there is very little isolation, so you can clearly hear the neighbors. There are also many light sources at night, which made it harder for me to sleep.The breakfast was poor in our opinion. Very friendly lady though. There is no space to chill out during the evening if you want to play a game or have a drink. outside of our room there were 2 chairs though but it just wasnt comfortable cause there is no table or anything. I think this would make this place a bit better.

Hotel is situated in a nice rural area with quiet undisturbed views of the countryside. Room was comfortable and spacious .

Hotel was described as having a restaurant, not true, restaurant has been closed for at least a year. The room AC was not working. Hotel reception was closed for most of our stay, a note on the door provided a contact telephone number to be used if help was needed.

Quietish, decent view, good breakfast, friendly staff, good parking.

Restaurant and bar not open, limited view from room, some noise from school opposite (but not bad), in need of some refurbishment.

Nice view of countrysideStaff incredibly friendly and helpful, and fixed problems when they arose Breakfast was good enough, although only fruits and bread, tomato, & cucumber for vegans.

Beds were very soft and uncomfortableThe hotel needs maintenance, the bathroom fan was broken, shower tray was hanging off the wall.The hotel is not built well, we left the first room as we had people above us and with only a wooden plank floor we heard them talking and moving around, disturbing our sleep. There was no noise isolation. The fridges in the rooms make noise.

The two breakfast ladies were very nice and the guard was also very nice. But basically this was all the personnel we have seen.

On the photos it looked like there is a huge garden where we can walk around, but actually there was only a very small green field but this was closed because of fumigation. So actually there was nothing to do in the hotel. We were with a small child so it was important for us that he has a place to run around. The breakfast was very simple and basic.

Breakfast was good and the excellent staff generously supplied gluten-free products especially for me. The room and bathroom were both well equipped and very pleasant, and on warm evenings our terrace was lovely.

We were very disappointed to find that there was no restaurant on site and would not have booked this hotel if we had known. The website clearly showed one. The pillows were so hard and high, I used a garden cushion all week instead.Though the pool area is charming, some of the decking boards are loose and potentially unsafe.

Very friendly staff, views were amazing as our room looked out at the sea and mountains. We watched the sun rise every morning. Lovely and quiet- the school across the road was not an issue as we were out exploring the island all day.

This is not really a didn’t like but we had to go to the supermarket several times as the restaurant was not open and we needed tea bags and milk and food for the evening, as our evenings were to relax on the balcony and plan the next day

room was pleasant, private patio area outside in the sun was very nice, bathroom was excellent. it was a shame the on-site restaurant wasn't open any more but that wasn't their fault as it was run by a 3rd party and the staff pointed us at a superb restaurant about 15 minutes walk away - we ate there 3 days in row.

There's an american school just opposite the hotel so traffic can be a bit of a nightmare at end of the school day when the parents pick up their kids but just avoid going in or out at that time and it's fine.
