Hotel Cristina by Tigotan Las Palmas - Adults Only

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, showing great attention to detail which made a real difference. The location is also excellent; the beach is very close by, and there are plenty of good restaurants right around the hotel.

The gym could be improved. It felt a bit under-equipped, which is surprising because there is quite a lot of empty space in the room that could easily accommodate more machines or weights

Everything was great! The staff was very nice. They helped us with anything we needed. The food was repetitive but it was very good quality. Hotel is placed on the beautiful beach of Las Palmas. We tried to seach in the lobby of hotel a library to read books but the have only books in Norvegian language. Please try to add books in English.

Great location! The staff was very professional — special thanks to Alessandro and Julien for their warm welcome.Ana also at the check out The hotel manager personally greeted us during breakfast, which I found very thoughtful and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is very nice actually

Downside: regarding the room bedding, I believe it could be improved for a 5-star hotel.The mattress and sheets were not quite up to the standard I was expecting. ?

Smell - they clearly had an issue with the drains as they were not surprised when we commented on it.

The hotel’s right on the beachfront with stunning sunsets — absolutely beautiful. They let me check in at 9 AM with no extra charge, which was a nice surprise.The only thing I wasn’t expecting: the place was packed with guests aged 45 and up. Might just be the type of destination, but none of the reviews on Booking mentioned it.

Water and tea/coffee were only complimentary on the first day — in most 5-star hotels, that’s usually restocked daily. Also, no slippers or bathrobes provided, which was a bit disappointing for a place with a 5-star rating.

The location was terrific and facilities of the hotel excellent . I had booked a superior hotel room with double bed but when I saw it it was at the back of the hotel and not a very appealing view also it wasn’t a double bed. I went to change and was offered a room with a sea view and balcony for an extra 30 Euro and it was stunning (although not a a double bed!) and the bedroom was fine. We were half board but wouldn’t do that again as what was on offer in the evening wasn’t to our taste and we felt the dining room lacked a bit of atmosphere, for breakfast it was fine with good choice but dimming lights and opera music in the background would be an idea to add a bit of atmosphere !

hotel was overbooked, so we got the suite. That was nice, but at the same time the suite is somewhat dated. Railing of balcony is broken (dangerous!) and there was a sewer smell on the balcony. Some floor planks seem to be missing under the bed as well..exactly where the legs of the bed seek for support. For the rest; excellent views and space in the suite!

The location of the hotel on Las Canteras beautiful beach with a vibrant atmosphere and lots of restaurants and café around.Our room (633) had a beautiful beach view.The hotel's stuff was really friendly and helpful with any request or question we had, making us feel very welcomed. The car park under the hotel is also great.

Super spacious bedroom and bathroom nicely decorated. Lovely pool and good to have access to the gym facilities too. Excellent location. The staff was friendly and efficient and the breakfast buffet excellent.

We were on the first floor on the corner so we couldn’t see the sunset. Worth checking the room when booking and making sure you get a room in the middle and higher up. On the plus side it was very quiet. The pool only accessible from 10am, would have been better to open earlier

Excellent food at the Buffett, both breakfast and dinner, but very crowded at breakfast and its clear the space is too small for the number of rooms.

For supposedly being five stars, the rooms are really very small and spartan, the beds are on the firmer side and they slide easily which means a lot of noise from upstairs when someone gets out of bed as the floor squeaks or they slide a chair across the floor. The gym misses basic equipment like a bench press, lat pulldown, and squat rack while cardio equipment is old and worn out. Hallways carpets and hotel room doors seem very old and worn. Room service is fast, but the options are very limited (no steaks, no seafood) and the salad I ordered was tiny and came with canned tuna not fresh tuna - not very 5 star. Long waits at reception due to understaffing. Elevators from the dark ages so be prepared to walk the stairs or wait extensively at peak hours.

Everything about the hotel I can't fault, bedrooms were fantastic, we have a balcony facing the sea which was amazing. The staff were fantastic and the cocktails were fabulous at the bar.

Lovely building with each room balcony completely private. Great lifts, breakfast, pool and all parts very clean with a gorgeous smell.
