The rooms were very large and spacious, well appointed and great views of the city from the 3rd floor.

There is only one elevator per building and it did need some maintenance during out stay

excellent breakfast and restaurant positioning was very central and easy accessible

The breakfast offered at this property was quite disappointing. There is no value for money with packed juices being offered instead of fresh juice, and the quality of the food did not meet expectations for the price or the standard of the property. Items that were supposed to be fresh felt stale. Improvements in variety, freshness, and quality would make a big difference. Unfortunately, this aspect of the stay fell below average."

We had a disappointing experience with the room allocation at this property. Despite booking a higher-cost room, the receptionist attempted to assign us a lower-cost room instead, which felt misleading and unprofessional. This discrepancy significantly impacted our stay and left us with a negative impression of the service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property based on this experience."

The staff are friendly and professional, very helpful whenever needed. The location is also excellent and the hotel is very safe.The reception is manned 24/7 so there is someone to help if needed any time. The rooms are very clean and housing keeping is brilliant.

I was offered a room different from what I booked. I had no views at all despite paying a premium price. I was offered to be moved but it was too late by this point.

The hotel management was extremely poor in communicating to me that there were going to be endless parties at the hotel and live band making noise until late in the evening.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in while visiting Uganda. The staff was amazing from the time I arrived for check-in until the time I check-out. The breakfast was awesome. The offer a variety of food and fresh fruit and juices. The security there was top notch and very professional. The gym was amazing and the spa was mind blowing.

This hotel was amazing for the price I paid. The location was perfect. The staff is what made this hotel one of a kind. The people there are very friendly and they made sure you had everything you needed to enjoy your stay.

Nothing at all.

My third time in Kampala and this time in this hotel. I was absolutely thrilled. I spent 5 nights there. The staff is super friendly. Everything is clean and the breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for. The rooftop bar is just brilliant and highly recommended. The view over Kampala is a dream. Plus a delicious drink and great food. That's all you need.

The wifi is sometimes weak. But I don't think that has anything to do with the hotel.

Mostly the people. Such friendly and warm staff. Special thanks to Ester from guest relations. She goes over and beyond to make sure she takes good care of her clients. Clean and pleasant hotel in a centrally good location in Kampala.

The noise. There's music all night till about mid night. Not very sound proof property.

It's a bit pricey considering it's a 3 star hotel

I found my experience at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz to be truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The value for the price exceeded my expectations, offering an array of activities to enjoy. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the attentive staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I am grateful for having chosen this establishment and would highly recommend it to others seeking a memorable stay.

Opting for a club level room seemed like a good choice until I arrived and realized there was a lively club directly above, making it difficult to sleep due to the noise. Despite this inconvenience, the setup might suit those on vacation rather than those like myself who were primarily there for study and work purposes. Nevertheless, apart from that issue, every other aspect of my experience was exceptional – from the attentive staff and excellent service to the delicious food, well-appointed room, thorough cleaning, and overall ambiance.

Excellent good and service at the restaurant. Wonderful spa

The day I arrived there was a private party around the pool that was very very loud and went from midafternoon to quite late. I was exhausted but couldn’t sleep. Live band on Thursday was very good but also loud!
