Cleanliness of bed linen was an issue

Nothing good to talk about.

Too much noise from the construction going on near the hotel. Also, too much mosquitoes and insects outside and in the room. This was so bad that my partner and I had malaria on return to Europe. I had a bad insect bite on my hand which has left a big scar.

I’ve known kabira for a long time so I understand what it can offer - many good things BUT

Man, was it noisy at night. I was in a room on the first floor facing the bins. It was so noisy for several hours between about 10pm to midnights outside in the hotel grounds too much noise talking. Hopeless for anybody needing to sleep . I come to Kampala now twice a month on business but have switched hotels just because if this

Food was great. Staff were friendly. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms had good space.

The building work is very noisy by day and bar by night.

The breakfast was good however, we were disappointed for the double charge. We pain for bed a breakfast for two and in the morning the staff insisted on paying for the breakfast. When I brought our concern to the check out desk we were told that that shouldn't have happened but management rook no steps to reimburse our money. We were very disappointed as this ruined our starting of the new year. Every time I am in uganda I visited this place e especially the Mongolian night, but will not be visiting again.

The food was good and the rooms however the double charging ruined the good service.

Excellent gym and highly service-oriented staff. They gave me a suite instead of a normal room which I had booked. I thought that was very kind of them.

The hotel itself is a little bit run-down here and there.. some furniture in my suite also.. All prices are in USD which makes it (too) pricey for non-US guests at the current exchange rates.

Location is great and so are the facilities

There’s loads of construction , it was pretty loud all day.

The shower was difficult to use - it would go extremely hot to cold, resulting in getting burnt. The wifi was poor.The food was good, however, we had issues and the management of these issues wasn't satisfactory by staff.

Rooms are dated, but high quality. They are renovating and building more rooms however.

Bed was comfortable, the staff were helpful especially those at the reception, the food was overall good, Airport pickup was great

Lack of mosquito nets, loud music from the restaurant, the green pool mats need to be cleaned / replaced, there was mould in our bathroom

House cleaning is a problem. Not organized, always forgetting to bring essentials and we would wait for hours before new towels or bed linen were brought back,couldn’t do thorough cleaning while we were there. towels at the spa, sauna and gym had a funky smell. It might have helped having trolleys with all the needed equipment and materials

The Penthouse was exactly as per the photos, it was very clean and well maintained. It was a very comfortable stay for all the guests. The restaurant area and all the facilities the hotel provided were brilliant! The staff were very professional and friendly.

Old cupboards in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Cockroaches and all geckos creeping around. I have a toddler and an infant always playing on the floor so was not great. Breakfast buffet was not great. You could hardly get local food. There were more Indian food than local. I got bored for the 5 days. I skipped most breakfast and had to order food most times from local restaurants with my partner.

Booked for 5 nights, left after one night.

While staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, management was condescending, dismissive and inflexible.

There were no toiletries and flat iron in the room.

If you are a big family and getting a suite, send a reminder a day before your stay on the bed setting you want, otherwise someone will sleep on the coach!
