Location not too far from town. Clean and simple lay out.Nothing complicated.

A bit small. No room for a pool and pool area

there room had a smell that would make you feel that the room is not that clean ...there was a night club that its sound was terrible until late at night and being there for business was not convenient not as good as the one in Lusaka ...

location is close to the central business district.Staff are very friendly and always available to help.

The band on Friday is too loud if one wants some peace and quiet.Modern safes could be installed in the rooms.

I was allocated room 204. The noise from the local night club was terrible, until after 03h00 in the morning. i travel for business and this requires my attention and concentration. I cannot sleep due to the terrible noise. I am considering changing hotels. I have stayed at Protea for about twenty years, but this is unacceptable!!!!!!Your WiFi keeps dropping. Even in the room, I have to continually re-connect. Whilst visiting my customer, I am allowed access to their Wi-Fi, I have no problem, but at Protea, I have to continually reconnect.Very disappointed with Protea!!!!

Staff exceptional, breakfast lovely.

Very noisy club across the street. Thursday night. - very little sleep.

A good place in Kampala for a stay. The staff and hospitality is very nice they will adhere to all your requests and make you feel welcome.

Clean and well maintained hotel, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location is great in Kololo it is central and easy to get around. Overall a great option for business or leisure.

Cash deposits made at the time of check in is not refunded at the time of check out. The guest checked out on 13 th and even after 3 days the refund is pending. This deposit was made to meet the expenses other than room rent. Deposit was made in cash .For the first time I am experiencing this from a Hotel ?

The people were nice.Shower and bed were good.

The sound from the clubs and conference rooms were unbearable. I was kept awake anytime they had a conference. Always loud until 11PM.I have multiple sources that have complained. I don't think anyone goes back for they cannot sleep. The Wi-Fi was ok, but it did cut out a few times.When checking out they did not have enough dollars to give me change and i could only accept the Shillings. This way i lose out on dollars for i get a horrible rate of exchange.

Breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel is good

Window blinds were not covering completely which was notified to the staff, but was not rectified

There is nothing not to like about this place

Only the restaurant and the in room dining

Service guest relations over all attitude of the staff terrible service terrible customer service especially the reception most atrocious customer service and pathetic behaviour

Reception is the front and face of the hotel they need to be more efficient and more courteous to all the guests in shor

Reception staff needs to improve communication skills and understanding and to be polite and not behave like Thugs and disrespectful and discriminating towards the guests

The location..

I was put in a terrible room. I barely slept for 2 nights. I asked to be moved and was told they were at full capacity. Only when I asked for a refund is when a room miraculously was available..

Friendly staff, cleanliness and good food.

Polite and welcoming staff. Classy. Comfortable Bed. Quiet enronment and excellent location around town. Cleanliness and orderliness is their priority and very excellent shower pressure. Security, though a bit too much. Overall nice hotel.

Can't smoke sometimes on my balcony. A hotel for non-smokers only!

Staff was very friendly and did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Room was clean.

The driver of the airport shuttle was missing and I had to wait for some 40 minutes at airport arrivals. I then abandoned this and had to take an airport taxi.
