    Pros +

    • Breakfast was good, food was okay
    • Amazing property and staff, it’s the best hotel in Kampala at the moment. Centrally located, Spacious rooms and amazing service. I had an issue with the first stay and they went above and beyond when I came back. Make sure to checkout the pool and rooftop, the best Kampala has to offer
    • The best hotel in Kampala at the moment! Spacious rooms, centrally located, super modern and well serviced. The team is amazing, make sure to check out the rooftop and pool. I can’t wait to come back

    Cons -

    • Noise at night - either the pubs next to the place or some drilling in the hotel in the middle of the night
    • The unexpected taxes and fees that appear on top of the advertised daily rates. While the initial pricing makes the hotel seem affordable, the actual cost turns out to be significantly higher than many competitors in town.
    • The food was bad and the rooms are too small.

The facility is exceptionally well-maintained and highly secure, with a staff that goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. The cleanliness is impeccable throughout.

    It's in a convenient location.

The food was bad and the rooms are too small.

    5OssianPosted on: 2-10-2025

Great view from the rooftop and decent facilities.

The rooms are not noise proof. I don’t think I’ve ever slept so bad, multiple days in a row. You can hear everything from the clubs next door.

    6CindyPosted on: 1-19-2025

    It’s clean and modern

It’s noisy there is a club opposite the road which makes noise all night so I didn’t sleep while I was there. Manager I think his name is Kirshan was rude and terrible to deal with, he doesn’t follow the Marriott policies made deductions of my credit card without my permission then gave me attitude when I confronted him about this. The Monday when I checked in I asked if I could pay for full stay I was told no I explained that it goes off as a foreign payment and becomes expensive doing multiple transactions. My card was placed on hold and then Thursday I find an unauthorised deduction and manager just says it was him. He then wanted to charge me an extra night when I asked to cancel the rest of my stay and other staff stepped in and fixed situation. All other staff where really helpful and kind but his a nightmare I would never stay there again his the reason I decided to leave because if the manager feels it’s justifiable to make unauthorised deductions and then go off at patrons my stay there would have had me feeling unsafe. How he got hired is beyond me.

The food was delicious and the common spaces were very welcoming.

The pool area is a little cramped.

    10AlvinPosted on: 1-12-2025

Everything about my stay was great. Loved the service from all of the staff who were super friendly, especially Mark, who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed felt like sleeping on clouds.I would book another stay when coming back to the country in a heart beat.

Nothing really. The rooftop could perhaps have a deep end but that's about it really.

    3VictorPosted on: 1-5-2025

    Greater location

Too much noise and just closing things down with short notice and you could not access to things you have paid for

    8BabraPosted on: 1-3-2025

The pillows, the showers, beddings generally I liked everything

I did not like the noise from the next room, and down stairs, was told the rooms were sound proof and city view but none was for room 217

The hotel is new with spacious, clean rooms. Lovely bar at the rooftop and great restaurant serving indian food at the ground floor.

Service at breakfast could be a bit faster.

The rooms were clean, kitchen is open 24 hours so it's easy to get food. The food is delicious and the staff were very helpful.

    Wifi is terrible.

    7StephenPosted on: 12-11-2024

Hotel was nice but overall and well maintained (as it's relatively new).

For the price indicated when booking (as they added on tax of $40 a night onto the room) - this made the cost of the stay which I was expecting it to be $160, not great value for money. Premises are quite small overall as its very central, the food menu overall is "ok" but not to my expectation for the star rating of the hotel.

    9EmmanuelPosted on: 12-2-2024

    Breakfast and location were fair

View from the room but I guess this is not within the hotel’s control

    10JoannaPosted on: 11-13-2024

Clean, spacious, amazing room and comfort

Not many options for food at breakfast

    4MwasaruPosted on: 10-16-2024

The location was ok. The room was spacious.

Some of the staff are arrogant.

    1AdeyemoPosted on: 10-14-2024

They’re all bullshit … Charged me for drinking water and alcohol they put in the fridge for me. Cleaners going in my room while I was at the Stadium watching the Cranes game .. I DON’T LIKE GIVING NEGATIVE COMMENTS BUT. I’m not happy with them
