Rude stuff, no internet and they lied oh they are coming to fix it but never fix

I liked that the hotel was comfortable and the food was really great.

Wi-Fi was slow, the staff were rude and unprofessional

The manager is very professional and resolved a minor issue, but other than that, this has to be the best property for the price in town! Alex and Rachel are awesome! Clean rooms, nice restaurant, free breakfast, and the location is perfect. I recommend the Galaxy to anyone ExPats or travelers!

I liked the accommodation, it was spacious and clean

I booked a stay through Booking.com for $93 USD. Upon arrival, the hotel charged me 358,050 UGX, using an exchange rate of 3,850 UGX per USD. The current market rate is 3,595 UGX per USD, meaning I should have paid approximately 335,000 UGX. After negotiation, the hotel reduced the rate to 3,750 UGX per USD, resulting in a payment of 349,000 UGX—still 14,000 UGX more than the correct amount.The hotel’s use of an inflated exchange rate is unfair and misleading. I urge you to ensure the hotel uses the standard market exchange rate for future transactions to prevent such discrepancies.

I like the accommodations. The location is good and central to everything. Free Breakfast and Room Service. Nice Roof top restaurant.

The front desk girl, who works the day shift, was very low energy, bad manners, and unprofessional. She acted like everything we asked in terms of service was a nuisance and always seemed very annoyed that she had to help us. My fiance and I never have issues with other staff who are friendly. This is not our first encounter with this same young lady. We have stayed here before. She has the kind of bad energy that ruins your entire stay. She's not good for business. The front desk is the most important area in a hotel because they are the gatekeeper who set the entire mood of a customers' stay. Im a US Merchant Marine, and I stay hotels all over the world. Her bad attitude ranks as the worst I've experienced. This will be our last stay at the Galaxy.

The staff were really friendly. Special mention to Keen, Serah and Sylvio. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities required.

Double rooms should have two beds, sharing beds was uncomfortable. Serving of breakfast was kind of slow, there's more room for improvement

Booked via booking.com in USD but at the reception I was told that they only accept UGX. So they took my UGX but at a very bad exchange rate. Making 5% profit extra by charging UGX instead USD is not a good idea. Loudry service is good but overpriced.

The room did not have basic things like soap and toilet paper. I was advised that breakfast is served at 8 am but there was delay to around 8.30 am. This delayed my checkout and affected my entire onward transit plans.

Right in town, but still noise in low levels while inside the room, transportation is so.easy to.get, but Boda Boda (motor cycles) is better choice due to the heavy jams in that part of the town

The cleanliness and safety of personal belongings was exquisite .

Breakfast was late and the same for those three days,the noise from the factories around the hotel and they should have put up a smoking area ,none smokers like myself suffered at the restaurant.

Random noise from neighbouring welding workshops and cars since the hotel is located in the middle of two busy roads

The room was clean, the other receptionist was good but the other one was so moody

This place was good but it is soo noisy that even when my mom called me she thought i was on the street, you really can’t sleep it’s extreme but i want to talk about how friendly stuff are from receptionists to cleaning ladies and the two managers Please keep Kevin she is so adorable if you are there ask for her not forgetting about the food i eate chicken, rolex, pizza and matoke and everything was so yummy even more than the 5 star restaurant i went to.
