Wonderful breakfast, cocktail hour and snack hours. Loved the onsen. Coin operated laundry didn't dry well. Helpful staff. Loved massage chairs in lounge area.

I very much enjoyed the community bath. If I visit Kyoto again I would be very happy to stay there.

Overall, I like my experience in staying in this hotel. It is very convenient in terms of location and luggage transfer. Their complementary lounge is the best. We'll definitely stay here again.

The only thing I did not like is the laundry. They should add more and upgrade their laundry room. It is very inconvenient for us tourist especially there were no laundromat close by.

Excellent location, very close to the bus station. The room is very clean, and the space is enough to open suitcases. Staff are very friendly.

There’re two pillows, but one is too high and the other is too low.

I like about the location which makes it easier to navigate the city and it’s within walking distance to the Nishiki market and from there u may explore the area surrounding it . There was a lounge area provided with snacks and chazuke during the night time.

The staff seems to be working on silo, less interaction and almost no eye contact, service is just barely boring.

A beautiful hotel down a side street in Kyoto and a very short walk from Shio subway station. We enjoyed the various drinks and snacks made available in the lounge throughout the day, the spacious rooms, the friendly staff, and the massage chairs. While there were onsen facilities, we didn’t end up checking them out but I’m sure they were up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel.

We were 4 adults (parents with 2 adult children) and they accommodated us in one of their "family" rooms. It was a huge room with 4 full sized individual beds. We heard the Japanese hotel rooms are small, but this was definitely the exception. We were very comfortable. The breakfast area is open all day with complementary wine and snacks in the evening. The hotel is only about a half a mile walk from the open marketplace with dozens of shops and places to eat.

Everything was clean and tidy. Free lounge for guests was extraordinary in its service. We also really enjoyed the exploration of streets around Shijo and Sanjo district.

There are varieties of offers at the lounge. Coffee, wine and Bubuzuke were excellent!

It’s very creative, and think a great balance of the spots(amenities) that won’t be so concentrated at the same time.

Clean room. Comfy beds. Quiet. Nice big onsen. Had afternoon tea with a nice selection of teas including herbal teas. Happy hour always had an interesting cocktail along with bubbly, a red and a white plus other drinks you could order and pay for at the bar. Enjoyed putting together a rice bowl later in the evening. They had two massage chairs that were very popular but did manage to use for about 10 minutes one afternoon which was great after being on feet all day. Tiny room but well designed. Efficient check in and check out.

Minor point but the art hanging on the wall in the lounge was disappointing.

Location facility and food. Breakfast is 2750yen and expensive side. But they have complimentary coffee smoothies snack wines snd light meal services. No other hotels of Thai kind offer such service as far as I know.

Rooms are small even twin rooms. No clear windows. Ie no view outside.

We like the location, but the bathroom was small

We were not happy with breakfast selection. I was hoping to have an omelet station and lox or smoked fish option.

The hotel looks great, both the lobby and room. Great facilities with a communal bath, massage chair and lounge area. The staff and room amenities are great, as well as the lobby's free snacks/beverages. Spacious room and bathroom makes for a comfortable stay.

The location is not very near a convenient store or subway station, and while it is quiet, it also gets dark in the area at night. The laundromat cant dry the clothes properly.

The room was a good size and comfortable. Staff was polite and attentive. The location is wonderful with lots of things close. Breakfast was delicious with many choices and the lounge with drinks and snacks throughout the day was really great. Loved the communal bath and the massage chairs. It's a great place to stay in Kyoto.

Bed was a little soft for me.
