Super family friendly, staff was nice and attentive, property was very clean. Centrally located - lots to do in walking distance.

We travelled with family and booked the Pokemon apartment. The kids loved it. A compact studio that is well equipped -kitchen, washer dryer, clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful with bookings. The complex is well located and close to restaurant, shops and train station. Very enjoyable stay.

The room was very spacious, which we really liked, and having a washing machine was very convenient and useful.

We would have preferred a layout where the TV could be watched from the bed. My husband and I like watching TV in bed, so it was a little disappointing that the TV could only be watched from the living area.

Truly perfect hotel for a family, even with young kids. We loved the location close to the two Metro/Subway lines. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and great streets to walk with strollers. Or just go for a walk in the evenings to experience Kyoto streets. The apartment was spacious & very clean. We enjoyed the seating area and our own washing machine very much. And the kids corner at ground floor/reception is great to play for 15-30 minutes outside the room with our two-year olds.

A minor detail, the bedroom and living area can be closed off but the wooden wall is still very much open - so light and sound go right through to the kids.

Good kitchenette, and location

There was plenty of space for 4 person, sofa to sit when you are tired from a whole day of walking without touching the beds with dirty clothes. Shower room and sink was clean, toilet was clean. Wifi has no issues. Plenty of tissues for kitchen use. We were able to drop off our luggage easily way before check-in time and securely as they have a room for luggage storage that comes with individual locks.

I just realized the actual bus stops and train stations (that connects to major attractions) that I used were kind of far away, around 8-10 minutes of walking. Otherwise, it is convenient as it is. Just a lil bit tired at the end of the day to walk from the stations or stops back to the hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Such a wonderful and family-friendly stay!I absolutely loved our stay here. The room was incredibly spacious, which made a big difference since we were traveling as a family. My kids were obsessed with the bunk beds — it made the trip extra fun for them!One of my favorite parts was the washer/dryer combo in the room. We packed light for this trip and I quickly learned (after staying at four other hotels without it) how essential that feature is when traveling with kids. Having it in the room made everything so convenient.

The bed and pills could be a little softer, but that’s just my personal preference

We stayed in the 6 bed annex room and it was incredible. Two toilets, a washing machine with detergent in the room, plenty of space to spread out and relax. This was our favorite property of our Japan trip.

The room was extremely spacious! We loved the tatami area that we were able to sit and have breakfast in. It made the room feel bigger.

The only thing to note is that it's a bit far from Ninenzaka and Gion (20-30 mins via public transport). But truly, that is it. That being said, I would absolutely still recommend it. The area was so quiet, safe, and convenient to other restaurants we wanted to try.

Convenient location and the staff was amazing! Rooms were nice and we liked that this location has a washer/dryer in the room.

Our first floor room did not have an actual window

Loved the room, very spacious, clean, comfortable, and well designed for a family of 4. Everything we needed was in the room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Neighborhood was quiet but still close to major tourist areas.

Only 6 mins from nearest train station, lots of restaurants around the area, and a Family Mart next door. Clean and organized property. The kitchen was fully equipped and you can even borrow small appliances (vacuum cleaner, iron & board).

The bunk beds are located behind the AC so it gets hot when sleeping in it. They also encouraged guests not to set AC lower than 25C or risk leaking. So e sorr of insect or mosquitoes somehow got in the room and my kids woke up with welts on their arm & legs. It was during a heat wave in July. The staff brushed it off when I mentioned it at check out.

Family bedroom was good size for 4 people. In-room laundry very useful; dryer does do a good job drying the clothes if you follow the recommendations. Location is good; close to subway, restaurants, cafe’s, and places like family mart. About a 10 minute walk to NISHIKI market area. Great property if you’re traveling with family. Front desk staff very helpful and the luggage transport service you can book is very affordable.

Space for suitcases was somewhat limited.

MIMARU was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The location was great. The room we had was perfect for our needs with a small stove, sink, refrigerator and washer/dryer.

We enjoyed our stay in Mimaru, the staff was very kind and helpful, the apartment was spacious, clean, included kitchen, washing machine and a sitting area. Location was convenient, walking distance (20min) to the center and around convenience stores.
