We had such a great stay at this boutique hotel! The bed was super comfy, and we loved having breakfast brought right to our room every morning. The room itself was spacious, smelled amazing, it was VERY CLEAN, and had lots of little thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The location was perfect, just a quick 10-minute walk to Nishiki Market. 10/10 recommend!

- High humidity in the (bath)rooms leads to condensation and mold in the shower, the ventilation should be checked.- Junior receptionist might need some more training- It was much cheaper to book online via booking.com than directly with the hotel

Extremely attentive and courteous staff in a very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. A comfortable bed in a good sized room with a very spacious shower. The breakfast was delivered extremely promptly (with a ten minute phone reminder) and was delicious. Great location with only a short walk to local amenities, we very much enjoyed our stay here. Thank you very much.

I loved everything, it's a very good place to stay, location is perfect, central yet quiet, the staff were very nice and breakfast in the bedroom every morning really tasty. The bed and pillow are extra comfort. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing everything was great! Maybe a slightly firmer mattress but that just a personal preference, I enjoy very firm mattress. However, the bed was very comfortable and I had great sleep

A small luxury hotel (5 floors with 3 rooms each) with super friendly staff, EXTREMELY spacious, clean and modern room and facilities, wonderful breakfast served to the room every morning, and the BEST shower room I've ever experienced with 4 different high pressure showerhead options. Absolutely staying here again if I return to Kyoto, highly recommend for a peaceful and luxurious stay.

The location is ok , close enough to the subway stops so you aren’t hauling luggage everywhere . But you’ll need the subway to get to any of the sites .

Signage on the hotel was very small. We walked past the front three times before we realized where it was. A little bit further away from tourist, attractions, and restaurants than we planned

This hotel was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The rooms were large and facilities great. Location good, not far from the train or markets. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very comfortable beds, and nice rooms. Decently large as well. Enjoyed that we didn't need to bring the key, but left it at the reception when we went out. Very good location with a quiet are, but also a short distance to the main areas of the city!

Handy location to town while not being too close. So felt quiet and had a real neighbourhood vibe. Lovely little restaurants on the surrounding streets. Very quiet and the staff were super helpful. Room size was great for three of us.

It was perfect! Just be sure to check if you ask reception when they make a dinner reservation for you it is non smoking. We didnt, so ended up leaving the place they booked due to all the smokers at a sushi restaurant

The hotel was clean, had all the amenities, quite strategic location for a short stay in Kyoto. Spacious rooms.

I feel there was a misunderstanding about the beds. The room had double bed + futon. We paid for extra bed, so my understanding was that we were supposed to have a room with a double bed, futon + extra bed, instead, there were no extra beds in the hotel, they just prepare the futon for that extra fee.. That made our sleeping arrangements not very comfortable, but we were able to find a reasonable solution with the hotel personnel.

Lovely hotel, traditional feel but very modern. Extremely helpful staff and well located , in a quiet street. Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.

No Cool air conditioning room humidity was so high that was constantly damp and mold in the room. Water inside the windows not from any rain. Lack of exhausted in the bathroom which created smell and heated up more of the room. When I asked staff why there was no cooling air conditioning as stated in my booking, staff responded with its cool enough in the room.

Amazing Charming Hotel.. the bed is so comfortable and the shower is amazinnggggg.. so well designed and has nice facilities like jaccouzi and water fountain.. location is a bit far from centre but it was ok like 15 min walk from the centre.. lovely staff..
