    Pros +

    • For a first arrival in Japan, it was the most sensible idea to choose this hotel in the Kyoto Station. We even booked another night at the end of our tour on account of the convenience, and were very surprised that we only paid 1/2 price!
    • I booked mainly because I needed to use Keisei Skyliner to go to Narita to catch a very early flight back. Short walk, manageable. But it was also very close to many restaurants, convenient. Easy access to trains too
    • Excellent location @ great breakfast

    Cons -

    • Passage ways were very long, which my son did not like. However, I needed to walk in the mornings and it was an excellent place to exercise as the room was on the small side.
    • The area surrounding the hotel was a bit dirty compared to other Japan cities I went earlier in the trip. But maybe it was just Ueno/Tokyo in general.

Perfect, convenient location in Kyoto station. Breakfast was good. Room was big.

No laundry facility to do your laundry inside hotel. Bathroom was smelly.

The bathroom, toiletries, and pijamas allowed us to have a spa night.

    10BogdanPosted on: 1-19-2026

We were very happy with the location of the hotel. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bad was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, variety of food. We had very easy access to JR Pass trains and city buses . The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Location was perfect

Room could have been more cleaner (less dust)

    10SitiPosted on: 1-19-2026

The location was very very central, right in the middle of the train stations. And very accessible, lots of shops around and food options as well. The staff was very helpful and accomodating.

Location is great. Right next to subway and accessible to family mart and 7-11 within walking distance

Some rooms are very small. We had a group of 2 and group of 3 and the group of 2 was very tight as compared to the room for three people. Not much space to move around or keep stuff.

The room was of a very good size when compared to other Hotels in Japan.Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and completely soundproof, with direct view to the Shinkansen lines.Very good breakfast and very good location within Kyoto station.

Pillows are not comfortable, and could have second pillows available.

This hotel is literally in Kyoto Station, so it can't be beat for convenience. The views overlook the train tracks on one side of the hotel - though it's well sound proofed, so there isn't train noise. Rooms are fairly large, particularly at this price point so close to a major station. There's plenty of room for luggage, particularly with a powder room area next to the bathroom.

We actually stayed here at the beginning and the end of our trip on account of the excellent location in the Kyoto Station. It was a great introduction for first-timers to Japan. There are many restaurants in the arcade around the hotel and also facilities to make tax-free souvenir purchases. The breakfast was most comprehensive. The second stay was actually half-price as it was not during the busy Japanese New Year holiday break.

The corridors were very long and it was a long walk from our room to the elevator.

    9TANPosted on: 1-5-2026

The location is very good. the hotel entrance is just below the Kintetsu railway station. lots of eateries inside the Kyoto station. Bus and subway station is all a short walking distance away. There are a few shopping Centre nearby.

The room is a bit small. there is not enough space to open two luggage's at the same time.

    9ChristinePosted on: 1-2-2026

Conveniece to the Shinkansen and all the restaurants in the station and outside.

Did not have a baggage service to the Haneda Airport.

We stayed for the 1st night arriving Kyoto, and ee needed to take our first shinkansen to Kinosaki Onsen the next day. I like the later checkout time.

Amazing location! Right in Kyoto Station so you have almost everything just outside the hotel and getting to and from places in Kyoto was super smooth. Great rooms that were very clean and had a lot of amenities. You could see the trains from your window!Breakfast was good with a lot of options to choose from. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay!

The beds were quite firm so we asked for a mattress topper. They provided it and it made it much easier to sleep!

    10AJ J.Posted on: 12-26-2025

Location was very convenient, due to proximity near the train station.Facilities were very clean, and continually kept in great condition during our stay.Staff was very friendly and accommodated our needs.

The proximity to the train station was great for traveling but you will hear the trains as early as 5:30 am. if you are a light sleeper, you will hear the trains quickly. The bed wasn't as comfy as we needed, but the hotel did give us a an extra mattress pad for additional comfort.

    10JassimPosted on: 12-25-2025

The hotel location is unbeatable, directly next to Kyoto Station, making transportation extremely convenient. The rooms are modern, very clean, and well-designed with excellent soundproofing. Staff were consistently polite, professional, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the facilities are well maintained. Highly recommended for families and travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and easy access to transport.
