Had a great stay. Location was away from the very touristy areas but the trains and buses were very close by so you could easily get around. Highly recommend the breakfast, was a great value. On the days we didnt want room service, staff still left new clean towels and water bottles by the door. Highly recommend this hotel.

I was told there was no room for an early check in, they said they all are dirty, but if I am willing to pay extra $20 they were ready to give me one ! It seems more of a scam, the staff were not friendly and understanding

This hotel is located two stops away from Kyoto Station.During my stay, there were only two Japanese guests besides myself, and the rest were foreigners.

Very good value for your money. The rooms are a bit small for North Americans, but otherwise, very clean and organized. On-site onsen was an excellent way to finish a busy day and relax your muscles.

Although the rooms were small they were great. They had so many amenities at the hotel and in the rooms it was spectacular. Personally the disposable razor shaved my face and head better than any other razor I’ve used. Also their bath cloths and bath wash, shampoo, and conditioner were amazing quality. The rooms cooled off quickly on very hot days with the AC. The staff was great!

The dryer took a long time to dry clothes but was thankful we had a washing machine. We were there with a large student tour group so I had to wait quite a while to do a load. The dryers had to run two 30 min cycles to dry the clothesFor ‘Westerners’ the breakfast was very unique. It was a traditional Japanese breakfast but we were not used to it. However what we ate was very good.

The hotel is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from Tambaguchi Station (JR Line) and only two stops away from Kyoto Station. The onsen was a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring Kyoto. There’s also a bus stop directly across from the hotel for those who prefer not to take the metro.The location is excellent, with easy access to taxis, buses, and the subway. The hotel is consistently clean, and the room size was just right for my partner and me—even with three large suitcases. The shower offers multiple settings, which we really appreciated.Breakfast, though limited in variety, was satisfying. We also found the complimentary umbrella rental to be a thoughtful touch, especially as it rained for two days during our stay. Lastly, the staff spoke very good English, which made our experience even more comfortable.

There were only two pillows, and they were quite soft—almost to the point that you barely felt any support when lying down.

We stayed here for a few nights and were very pleased with our experience. Although we didn’t opt for the hotel breakfast, it was easy to pick up something from nearby 7-Eleven, Lawson, or Fresco. We also used the coin-operated laundry facilities, which were clean and worked perfectly. The hotel is conveniently located close to train and bus stations, but we mostly enjoyed walking through the charming streets in the area.

Overall, there was nothing significant to complain about — although storage space in the room was a bit limited.

Rooms are super small, no space to open the luggage and move. We had the city view room and we facing a wall.

The staffs customer service was lacking and the food wasn’t good. Rooms were extremely too small.

Comfortable beds. Great having the onsen on-site. The hotel has laundry, at a fair price, and close to restaurants and convenience stores. The bus is right down the street for easy access to the city.

Perhaps located too far away from the main sites - not walkable. Breakfast was a little on the expensive side but pretty good selection. I would definitely stay again.
