LOISIR HOTEL KYOTO TOJI

Everything’s great! The public bath is a great relaxing spot for travelers. Love the room. It’s clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Could have a few more storage units inside the public bath considering the space. There was a queue waiting for the unit when the bath was half empty.

Very nice onsen. Super clean all around! Very good breakfast too.

The pillow was a bit hard and there was only one of them. That was it. Everything else was percect

Loisir Hotel Kyoto was in a good location, close to the train station. Rooms were comfortable, but small. Stranded to Japanese size rooms .Beds were on the firmer side but not too bad.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful as we were checking in or needed a bike or umbrella for the day. The room that we stayed in had the greatest view of the mountains and the trains rolling in the station. Great breakfast buffet selection and i loved the onsen with the sauna and cold plunge.

Amazing stay! The property is located close to Kyoto Station and Aeon Mall, which was very convenient for travel and shopping/food. The property is lovely, many amenities and the staff were all kind and helpful! The room was great as well; very clean, spacious, beautiful view, and the bathroom/shower were bigger than typical places in Japan. Overall very comfortable, modern, and convenient!

Location was great - close to Kyoto Station, Todji Temple, Aeon Mall.Hotel was clean, room was clean. Beds were comfortable. I would choose the hotel again.

Room felt smaller than the expected 20m2. Traffic noise was noticeable but not a huge problem because hardly any traffic at night. Would have liked to have another garbage can in the bathroom.

the hotel is clean and new, they use good facilities

the hotel is beside a road, the room is very noisy so that I can't sleep. I asked the staff to change a room at the other side, they refused and told me it's full. But it was 10.30 am, and I booked the room two months ago. I will never choose this hotel next time.

Attention of staff

Breakfast should have more options such as fruits, breads and hot chocolate.

Close to Kyoto station. Buses can be used to reach most of the sights. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Room had a great shower. Enjoyed the onsen.

There are 5 washer-driers in the laundry room. This is probably not enough as they are in demand. Unfortunately on the evening I wanted to use one, some young tourists had selfishly used 3 of the machines and then disappeared for several hours, leaving their finished laundry inside the machines. Reception said that they couldn't empty them. This caused a long queue to develop. The hotel could avoid this by posting signs that if laundry is not collected immediately on completion, then the machine may be emptied by staff.

Beautiful room and location. Was one of the nicest places I have stayed

An annoyance more than anything, when we were leaving, we had one suitcase break on the elevator. That’s fine we bought a replacement. What was the annoyance, being asked to pay 1600 to throw it away

There was no closet or drawers to put our clothes, a little small for having 3 people in a room. Two people would be comfortable for the room size.

Convenient for the train station and Toji temple. Comfortable beds and amenities. The public bath was lovely.

Near Kyoto station and various attractions. It is also near Aeon Mall which makes it convenient to go shopping

10 min walk from Kyoto central station, very convenient if you are arriving from Tokyo, for example. Quiet area, a bit far from the center, but hotel was so good that it beats everything. Sauna is great, laundry machines are great too, I washed and dried my clothes. Very nice and comfortable hotel. I tried to use bicycle rent, but bicycle was too small for me (173 cm). Spotless clean everything, good breakfast.

The don’t let you check in even 5 min earlier then 3pm.

Wow!! Such a lovely hotel, modern, clean, incredible staff that are super helpful and friendly. Also just a stone throw away from Kyoto station! The shower was incredible!!We only stayed for one night unfortunately but the food in the restaurant looked really lovely and we didn't have time to use the public bath.
