    Pros +

    • Super friendly staffVery cleanAll was perfect And it’s outside the crowds of Kyoto
    • I enjoyed this hotel's location, its tucked away in a quiet neighborhood not too far from Tambaguchi Station, near some older architecture and lovely houses. There was a great cafe near by called Wakayama that I enjoyed having coffee at. There's also a near by sento/restaurant that I had a very nice meal set at. The rooms are clean and comfortable, I enjoyed that the window could open so I could get fresh air. Nice location for sure.
    • Very clean and big. It even has a tatami mat. The toilet and bath are spot on, very modern and very clean. I like the toiletries too.

    Cons -

    • This is not necessarily a negative but your room will have a physical key with an attached wooden charm to make it easy to find/hard to lose, but that can take up room on your person when you are out and about, probably best to put it in a bag if you don't have pockets.
    • Location. It is very far from the downtown and nothing to do around the vicinity. I arrived at 8pm and it was really scary going to the hotel because the streets are dimly lit. I was so hungry but I was afraid to go out because it was dark. The next convenience store is 5 kilometers away! After that, there is still nothing to see except rows of buildings. Would not recommend this if u want to see the sights and sounds of Tokyo.
    • Nothing really. The lobby is a bit small but that’s about it.

Very clean and new, modern facilities, comfortable and more space than usual.

Nothing really. The lobby is a bit small but that’s about it.

A very worthwhile room with two large beds and ample space for activities, with a bathtub and daily bathrobes and bottled water.

The location is in the residential area, and the nearest station and convenience store are also a 10-minute walk away. It would be perfect if they could provide a desk that allows the use of laptops to work. There are no other problems.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was very relaxing. The room was large and comfortable. It was nice to have a tatami — it gave the space a traditional atmosphere. I really liked it! Fresh towels and a pijama were provided every day.

We booked two rooms, one for me and my husband, one for our four kids in their teens and twenties. One room was great. One wasn’t.Staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Apologized for not being able to give us a better room and quickly arranged a taxi on the day of our departure.Fifth floor room had a lovely view even though our first floor room felt like a dungeon.Very quiet. Good soundproofing.Very clean.

    - Only one physical metal key per room, even with four guests in a room. Inconvenient if you split up as our kids wanted to do.- One room smelled heavily of cleaner and carpet was damp. No view out the window.- Only instant coffee- Refrigerator did not get cold- Duvet covers didn’t close. It was like they were just wrapped in a flat sheet.- Toilet is not separate from bathroom in smaller room.- Food options are limited nearby, though we do recommend Olu Burger.- Luggage forwarding was twice as much as other places. Suspect an upcharge. We opted not to forward and just got taxis to the Shinkansen.

It is little far from old town

Good size room. I hope to be able to see outside from window but glass was non transparent. Also a bit far from bus stop or train station. Still great overall.

The location was amazing and the room was clean and bright

Each morning I would have liked extra coffee and some form of milk

Location was ideal Train Subway all easy access. Happy hour was a plus.

Only thing I didn’t care for was the fact they did not leave me coffee or tea, but brought my own so no issues.

Huge room (with a tatami space) and bed. Super clean and silent

    6NataliaPosted on: 4-8-2025

Positive: - comfortable rooms and beds (very good mattress) - new modern hotel- free 2 bottles of water every dayNegative: - Not the best location, the closest train station is in 7 min going through an industrial area (thus train is quite slow, not as metro). There is another option to take a bus. All the main attractions are MINIMUM in 30 min away from the hotel.- not so cheap, and for this money, they ask you to collect your trash and towels and put them outside the door, basically to make a cleaning in the room. - they don't have an agreement with transfer companies that send suitcases to another city, which almost every hotel has, so we had to go the closest convenience store which is in 7 min also away from the hotel on foot.

The staff was very polite — they even checked us in 5 hours early at no extra charge, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, though a bit worn out. The location is very convenient, close to bus stops and the metro.

Great location in a very nice area. Large room for Japanese standards. Great bathroom. Extremely clean. We had a room for three people with two big single beds and one tatami area with a double futon. Change of linen every day. Very kind and helpful staff.

    Nothing to complain about.

    9CheePosted on: 4-7-2025

We enjoyed the quiet location and the comfort and quality of the room. We also appreciate having laundry washer and dryer onsite. The staffs were responsive via booking and helpful. They do not do transporting services for luggage so be prepared for that. The only down side is it is further from the main station and requires a longer walk.

    8CarlosPosted on: 4-1-2025

Perfect location, close to train stations and 8 mins walking from Tokyo station. 7eleven around the corner. Quiet area. We had a great view even though the room is the tiniest one ever being?.Loved the pyjamas . Bread and chocolate best complement.

    8EdmundPosted on: 3-22-2025

The room is relatively big for Japan standards, and clean. Staff were very nice.

    10MartinaPosted on: 3-21-2025
