Location to trains, buses, shops, staffing was excellent

Right in front of Kyoto station. Very convenient.

Not so clean. Dirty carpet.

It did not have any water to drink in the room. And if you want to wash clothes, it was very expensive.

Room was a little bit small for my taste but functional

The location was nice with the mall attached and a close 7/11. Location to main train station was also great. Provided waters every evening which was nice. Toiletries located in the lobby so you could grab anytime what you needed.

The bathroom was outdated and not cleaned well. Every time we flushed the toilet, it sounded like water was going to come rushing out of the wall. We called the front desk about it and they said that was how all the toilets sounded. Not enough laundry facilities in the building. Our room at one point smelled like smoke despite asking for a nonsmoking room. We believe it was coming through the vents. We will not be staying here again.

Location was superb and so was the sumptuous breakfast . Since we were 3 in our family we chose a room with 3 beds which was quite large and very comfortable.The hotel was just next main kyoto train station . we travelled fom Hiroshima by Shinkansen ( bullet train) and arrived an hour early . The staff at reception were very polite ( As all Japanese are) and allowed us to check in early at a nominal cost .Over all very nice stay.

I liked the breakfast buffet. It was the best one ive had. Seafood, eggs, automated pancakes. Excellent!

perfect location, just across the street is the kyoto station. there is an underground connection from kyoto station directly to the hotel, so if its raining you won't get wet. Also connected via evelator B1 directly to the AVANTI mall, easy to get food and necessities. AEON MALL is around 15mins walk away. kyoto tour groups meetup point in just beside the hotel too, so if you join any klook tours, just go out of the hotel and thats it. highly recommended hotel.group of 6 booked a connecting room with 3 single bed for each room.

none, but the check-in time is exact 3pm, meaning if you going earlier like 2:30pm, you have to wait for 30mins, before they will start accepting check-in, just like an airport check-in. not that important comparing to all the convenience you get from the location of the hotel.

This hotel offers everything that I always care about for a hotel stay but rarely get the full list when I travel (especially in U.S.). I can open the window to get fresh air. The window is sound proof, so when I close it, it’s very quiet despite it’s located in a busy area right next to Kyoto Station. The location is perfect for me to explore the city using public transportation. I usually take either the JR or the subway to avoid the traffic by bus. The breakfast is amazing and affordable to fuel me for extensive walking/hiking until early afternoon as I set out by 8am every day during my stay. Toiletries and bottled water are offered as self-serving bar in the lobby. There’s laundry rooms and vending machines next to my room. A few malls are also within walking distance so I could go shopping after my dinner and brief rest followed by a day’s touring in the city. Lots of restaurants in the station. Staff members speaks English and very friendly.

I couldn’t think of anything major. I stayed in a single room so it could be on the small side by Western standard but I don’t really mind as I’m out all day and just come back for shower and sleep. Another not very pleasant experience of my stay has nothing to do with the hotel but the my “neighbor” guests. They look like (late)teenager group and sound like British. They chat and giggle loudly in the hallway as if they were in their dormitory and had no clue about the taboo of speaking loudly in public in Japan. On the early morning of their check out day, a lady looks like one of the chaperone literary banning on one of the doors and yelling the name of a kid who probably overslept. Doesn’t she realize she could actually call the room directly instead of waking up everyone on the floor? Fortunately, their stay didn’t overlap with my whole stay at the hotel. After they checked out, I had much better sleeps in the night.

Massive room good value

A little bit old but worth the stay.

Conveniently located to Kyoto station.

Coffee station and water/tea were only available after 2 pm. The laundry facilities were only open after 8am. This isn’t convenient for early travelers.

Location and price being by the station was great made travel super easy. Only one thing I’m allergic to down and all the bedding is down super comfortable but I got a reaction?breakfast was great ? love Kyoto ?

The down they need alternative bedding for ones like me but they did give me extra sheets to use very helpful
