It’s accessibility and room size for young family.

Cons -

The receptionist that was present when i arrive can't speak english.
Booked double room but bed is smaller than usual double rooms. Not all staff speak English so had trouble getting messages across. Stay was made worse by a fire alarm on one night which made the whole hotel evacuate and waited out in the cold for an hour with no communication from hotel staff.
Bathroom was very small. The rooms we stayed at had Limited windows and air circulation.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Was a bit spacious than normal Tokyo rooms . Just visited the hotel for a night. Close to family mart and McDonald’s as well

Staff was incredibly helpful! They were very warm and made being in a new city in a foreign country feel less intimidating. I will recommend this hotel to anyone I know going to Kyoto.

Short walk to Kyoto station. 2 kombinis very close by. Hotel was nice and quite and we'll take care of. The staff were very happy to help without being asked. Thank you for my stay

We checked in almost 12 midnight but there was no problem. The staff accommodated us kindly and even gave us a bigger room, bigger than what we have booked. We are very happy!

The property is just 5 minutes walk from Kyoto Station and that by itself is value for money. Kyoto Station by itself is wonderful and then there is JR Kyoto ISETAN!!! There are so many eateries nearby and we strongly recommend Coco Ichibanya (Coco Curry House) which is just around the corner. Of course, have to mention that the hotel provides Movie On Demand (free) which offers a variety of entertainment especially for non-Japanese visitors. And for the bonus, free coffee at the reception area :)

Location is very good. Hotel is very clean. Some of the staff members speak English. Relatively quiet place. Although it is near the Kyoto station.

Bads smell in the hallway at least in 3rd floor where I stayed. When you enter the hotel AC is set to lowest setting it felt like it was 18 degrees celsius although outside is very hot. Also, I couln't find how to pour hot water from the machine. It would be great if that machine had english instruction nearby.

They can provide opening of window so that would not have to run Air conditioner all the time

Location was very close to Kyoto station which was very nice. Property was kept very clean and staff was friendly. Surrounding area was very nice as well and was close to one of the best curry places I've ever had.

Nothing at all. I really enjoyed my stay.

The people were very accommodating and helpful.The hotel's proximity to the station is a big plus and the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and always with a big smile!

Not allowing a late check out andSmell of cigarettes sometimes permeates the lobby as the smoking area is just right next to the information/check in desk.
