A little far from central Kyoto

Hotel was very nice. It is located right next to an okonomiyaki restaurant which was nice. the lounge area was clean and had nice coffee and tea for everyone. There was also alcohol testing while was nice. Showers were very nice and the amenities were the best I had this trip

The location was nice. The hotel had all the necessary amenities. The staff was very professional and helpful.

The mattresses were very hard. It was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep on.

A clean and comfortable room with more than enough space for two people. The room was equipped with a portable kitchen, along with dishes, cutlery, and two wide beds. The location is convenient—only 15 minutes by bus from the city center and a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station, so you can easily walk from the station to the hotel with your suitcases and save money on a taxi, especially since it is prohibited to take large luggage on public buses in Kyoto. There is also a Lawson store near the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, so it’s highly recommended.

Everything was perfect, very clean,, the size of the room, the size of the beds..it had a small kitchenette, which was very useful. The bathroom was very well split. It was great that there is a service center close to the train station that stored our luggage before check in and after check out, for free. There was also a happy hour tasting of japanese alcohol that we did not try, but very nice to have that. We had coffee in the room for the duration of our stay and also complimentary water bottles when we arrived.

The staff didn't speak english very well and it was a bit difficult to understand eachother, but we managed with a translation app, in the end. The location was a vit far from the subway and bus, but there was a bus station closer where a bus came every hour, so if you were lucky to catch it, it was a very short walk, especially when you have luggage

Somewhat far from a few stations but I enjoyed walking around Kyoto :)Expensive for a 3 star hotel, but I got the room on a whim; if it was reserved well ahead of time, I assume price can go down up to 2x depending on season as well of course.

I loved the location of the hotel, friendliness of the staff, express check out, and the view from the room. The room was so nice and perfect for our short stay in Kyoto. It was easy to find and plenty of public transportation nearby for ease of travel.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The location was within walking distance to the train station and restaurants.

Although the room was very clean, the carpets were stained.

The hotel itself was not clean at all: the common areas had big dirt in the floor and its furniture was full of dirt and mold. Inside the room was okay but there were some walls that were falling apart. The size of the room is limited, don’t expect that 2 suit cases fit in it. The location was okay, not too far from Kyoto station but no connections with many bus lines or trains.

Staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, spoke perfect English (not that this is important in Japan but it can help sometimes). Beds were very comfortable

Location is not the greatest. Close to Kyoto station but not in the greatest neighbourhood. Facilities are very old and I’m assuming recently had a “makeover”I did NOT like the lock on the door. Only one “deadbolt” that barely worked and the doors opened outwards which does not provide any security. I would not recommend for solo female travellers as there is no way at all to provide extra safety or locking mechanisms on the room door due to it opening outwards and there is a lip in between the door and wall which prevents the use of extra locking devices.

All round an excellent experience. Clean, quiet, well equipped and friendly. Free laundry was a bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location with a short walk to the metro. Many local eateries close by.

The hotel was great! It's really pretty, the staff was more than nice. I can't remember the first receptionist we talked to but she was really friendly. She also gave us restaurants to go to. The location of the hotel is good too.

Additional taxes charged, additional fees for bottled water and bath towels, scheduled cleaning not followed , not allowed shoes in room and no space to remove and put on shoes . Beds were pushed together , no gap between beds .
