Hotel Imagine Kyoto

We had a fabulous time, we are a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children. The space provided for our family was perfect for our needs, bright and airy. The staff was great with our kids. Easy access to train station.

The room design offers a thoughtful blend of traditional features with modern amenities. The location near Kyoto station made moving around town easy. We loved eating 7-11 breakfast on the beautiful roof deck!

Recommendations for dinner were more "miss" than "hit" but Kyoto offers an abundance of great food and we always figured it out.

We loved everything about this property! The location was very close to the train station. The staff was very nice nice and helpful. There was a full kitchen in the lobby with free coffee and tea which was a great perk. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

nothing to complain about, with four people you do need to have two people at least use futons but if you enjoy futons like me it’s perfectly fine. it would be nice if we all had our own beds but it’s not the end of the world.

This place was beautiful! The team accommodated an early checkin for us. The room was clean, big, and renovated. We loved our stay! The staff was so nice and welcoming as well.

Gorgeous room, the biggest we stayed in in Tokyo and so comfortable, top notch! Loved the yukata and extra comforts of the hotel with the facilities in the main area. Very kid friendly. Great design touches all around.

The location wasn’t the best for exploring Kyoto, but very convenient to the main train station, so worked well for day trips. Otherwise we used taxis more than we usually would.

The entrance of the hotel is very nice, and there’s a lounge downstairs where you can relax while waiting for your laundry to finish. There’s also a terrace at the top with great views! The place is family-friendly, with plenty of luggage and bed space. The only downside is the lack of a kitchen sink, though we did have a kettle and a mini-fridge. Overall, it was a good stay. Area is near Kyoto station.

Beautiful property in a quieter area but so close to the station l. We so appreciated the dining area after a long day of exploring. Kyoto was the highlight of our 2 week trip!

AWESOME!!!! Service was amazing! The room was spacious, comfortable, homie, great restaurant next door, chicken ramen was amazing! The room was huge compared to others in Japan. The staff was helpful & super nice. Close to the train station.

Friendly staff and owner, charming, clean hotel, great location. The common area is great for chilling with a free coffee or having a meal. The rooftop is also very nice.

Location was convenient, staff very friendly, room was large, bed comfortable! Kids felt at ease. Bath tub was deep and relaxing at the end of long day of walking.

Room does not have many hangers, communal dining area may be inconvenient for some.

Great for families with young children! They have full kitchen in lobby, yukata to use, toys/games for kids to borrow, coin washer/dryer in lobby also! Also delicious espresso machine for guest use!

Futons a little firm/uncomfortable on floor. It was nice option to have futons on floor to sleep with our baby. Consider cot/crib as another option

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The value of the rooms was very reasonable. The ambiance was positive.

It was originally difficult to find because the name of the hotel does not stand out when you are coming in from the train station.

If there is a big family upstairs and they have strong steps and slams doors, you hear them.

The host was so sweet and informative. The location was very good with a Lawson and 7/11 down the street. Aeon mall was also close by which a nice place to eat and do minor shopping. Very clean and loved the property had on site laundry.

The staff were very friendly and supportive, ready to help any time. The room was comfortable and cozy with ehough space to accommodate the needs of our family of 4. The location is very convenient - under 5 minutes to Kyoto station with restaurants and stores nearby. There is a common room with a spacious kitchen and a dining area + cozy rooftop.I highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Hotel Imagine! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and they and the owner had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The rooms were wonderful - really comfortable and spacious. And the location was perfect - so close to the train station and great restaurants. Highly recommend for families in particular.
