We had a great time! Service and room were great, location is central and walkable with many public transportation options

Only thing is that we like harder mattresses

Breakfast was lovely the first day. We loved being near the market and bus lines. The staff were very helpful.

Directions for the train to Fushimi Inari were confusing, since we needed to take the local instead of the express train. Going to the fifth stop took us much too far out of town, and we had to backtrack. Just a note to be specific in the directions given. Thanks.

Love the staff, love the location, love the facilities and the breakfasts. Super clean, comfortable room with a great shower. We had a good wifi connection.

Incredibly comfortable, spacious, and clean rooms. The staff were so attentive and kind. The location was amazing if you want to be in central Kyoto with access to everything. To top it all off, the breakfast was wonderful every morning!

The only challenge was the wifi. The connectivity was totally fine for emails, streaming, etc. but struggled to support video conferencing, which is crucial to my work.

This was likely the best hotel experience I've ever had in Japan (after staying in 20+ places). Very kind staff, exceptional breakfast, the room is very spacious, and not only by Japanese standards. We had a great view from our window (5th floor).

We were a bit worried since some reviews mentioned that leaving the key at the reception caused inconvenience. In our experience, it's not an issue at all and the staff is always present!

The manager to the receptionist were excellent hosts. All my needs were met, including suggested local sites and places to eat that were great recommendations.The room was exceptional. Large shower with plenty of water pressure. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was terrible. Worst of all breakfasts in japan. two eggs omlette and couple of fried oily potatoes for Three people. We had to go for another breakfast just after hotels breakfast :(

Brand new and very clean and modern hotel. Very supportive and assisting staff. Clean and large rooms with great bathroom and oversized bed. Great, central neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars

Location was convenient- very close to the business district (walkable distance), next to the fish market, historical points. Facilities are extremely clean, rooms (unusually for Japan ) are large, stuff speaks English. Everyone was very accommodating at the time we stayed there. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and kind staff. Great location near a lot of restaurants. Central to main shopping area.

Had to drop keys off at front desk every time we left. Not much of a view but that's normal in Kyoto.

I liked the area since the street where the hotel is located is quiet and near many small restaurants.

The best hotel we've been for quite a while!Very comfy beds, amazing showers, huge bath and even a stone garden.

The breakfast is nice, but it's less convenient to have it only in the room. There is no proper table to fit everything.
