Kyoto Century Hotel

Breakfast buffet is amazing including some unique vegetarian items. The two of us came back to our dining table with full plates but not one overlapping items!

Minor complaint is the strange window separating the bathroom from the bedroom. Light leak through the blinds, so you can't keep the bedroom dark if the other person gets up early or need a mid sleep relief.

Next to the station

Extremely small rooms. No options for restaurants. Felt claustrophobic.

The location was terrific- right next to the huge Kyoto JR station. Staff spoke english and were able to look things up for us online as well as give more detailed information than google maps.

The room felt dusty.

Helpful staff, very clean, and a comfortable mattress. Would definitely recommend.

Room space was definitely bigger than the other hotels we used. Big plus is that this location is just outside the Kyoto station. So, getting in and out was easy.

location makes it convenient to travel up and down on the JR line. Convenient with many restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Hotel breakfast was okay, for the fact that it was free for us two adults, couldn't complain.

Everyone was so attentive and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and clean and right across the street from Kyoto Starion so very easy to get around. The staff was extremely helpful in giving directions and always patient with us. Highly recommend!

I have been finished reservation that for non-smoking two single bed room.However, they gave us terribe room.The hotel staff told me that my room is non-smoking room.But I could smelling lots of smoking smells in the room.This Hotel was terrible.

We got very good value for our money and the staff was EXTREMELY attentive. We felt very at home here and did not want to leave.

The location is fantastic. Right near Kyoto Station. Good proximity to shopping, temples etc. The staff were freindly and attentive. They even took my broked luggage for disposal. The place was really clean and fancy. Dinner was good.

The rooms were a little small. The smalleset bathroom I have ever seen.

The location of the hotel is second to none, close to the Kyoto Train Station.

No YouTube app on TV. No suitable electric outlet adapter for US plugs. Can't charge my notebook for 2 days.

Hotel located in a great location close to the train station. Breakfast was great and also they have accepted to keep the luggage as we arrived early Staffs were so friendly and helpful

This hotel is located within a 5-minute walk of Kyoto Station. It is not connected to the station but right next to it! It made it very convenient to take the train to nearby locations like Nara and Osaka, as well as to take the bullet train to Tokyo. It is next to some fun restaurants, bars and shopping neighbourhoods, but you must take a bus to get to the main tourist areas of Kyoto. The room was one of the largest rooms we stayed in compared to other cities, and we paid a reasonable price (there was a promotion when we booked). The breakfast is ridiculously expensive, so we opted out of that. Only worth it if you enjoy buffet-style dining and have a big appetite. The staff were friendly. Spoke good English. The hotel was well-maintained and clean. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean. If you plan to make Kyoto your central hub and visit locations around it, highly recommend the Kyoto Century Hotel.

Other than the expensive breakfast, nothing, this hotel was great!
