RAKURO Kyoto by THE SHARE HOTELS

We were immediately impressed by the beauty of the design of the hotel. It's a gorgeous building. The staff were very friendly and gave us all the necessary information when checking in. The guest lounge is amazing, the whole hotel smells divine and the rooms were very clean. There are two washers and dryers available at the hotel. There's a Family Mart right around the corner, and bus stops/metro stations are both only a couple of minutes away by foot.

The location is very good. Near the metro station and bus station the staff was really friendly and helpful

The breakfast was only 3 options you need to choose from daily without any change

Great staff, everything you need is right by the hotel including convenience stores, 7-11 & Family Mart, restaurant open 23 hours a day, McDonalds etc

Beds were pretty hard.

The hotel design looks great. It combines modern and traditional feeling. The room is spacious for 3 people. The futon is comfortable. Hotel is super close to metro and there’s many shops around both convenient stores, supermarket and restaurant. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The staff are friendly and polite.

There’s only one elevator. During morning you may have to wait a bit. We booked the room with attached restroom which is outside of the room. It’s a bit difficult when you want to use it when you wake up in the middle of the night.

Clean and friendly stuff Good location

There is a big difference between the floor of the room and the bathroom and toilet floor.. itvis not friendly to dosable people..even dangerous to ordinary people. Also for breakfast...only 3 choices of the sandwiches with the same side dishes every day If we knew it we would not have booked the room with breakfast.

I visited Kyoto and chose to stay here because the room design is exceptionally beautiful. The room comfortably accommodates three guests and provides sufficient space for luggage. It was very clean, and the bathroom includes a Japanese-style bathtub that functions very well. Daily housekeeping was also available upon request.The hotel allows guests to store their luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which is very convenient.There are several bus lines nearby, making it easy to travel to many destinations around Kyoto.The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and the common area offers complimentary tea as well as a water dispenser.If I have the opportunity to visit Kyoto again next year, I would be delighted to stay here once more. ???

One minor improvement I would like to suggest is adding additional hooks for hanging towels in the room.

The room we stayed in was clean and spacious. We got a big room with private bathroom. The hotel is very modern with many amenities. Most of the staff were very nice.

We have a friend who was not staying at the hotel (she stayed at different hotel)came to take a short rest. The staff was not happy about it. It’s not like she is staying over but she refused to let our friend in even for just a short rest. It’s a bit too inflexible.

All amenities and simple design. Get the breakfast and enjoy the bar/cafe. Food is delicious. Staff is wonderful.

i am a fan of THESHAREHOTELs group, always love their interior Design. this one with very friendly Staff and they are very helpful. Great location, very close to few Kyoto famous spots.

The room was large. The beds were comfy. It was near a subway station. Cute restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood.

The breakfast wasn't that exciting.

The vibe of this property was wonderful! We especially liked the lounge area with the botanical lab. Great location to visit and explore Kyoto.

I wish Fawn had more food/drink options.

Unassuming from the outside but this hotel is so cool. The interior is minimal and chic with a traditional Japanese twist. The room was huge as was the bathroom/shower room. The guest lounge was a nice bonus and the rooftop bar. It was completely spotless & the staff could not do more for you. About a 10 minute walk to the nearly metro station too.

We loved our stay at Rakuro. The room was beautiful and the hotel itself was also stunning. The guest lounge was a lovely touch. Soaps and shampoos smelled great as a bonus! Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

The location was slightly off the beaten path but no major attractions were more than a 30 minute walk away. The beds were quite firm but we enjoyed the traditional style of bed.

Very clean and nice rooms with wonderful smells.The soups smell extremely good.

Location is fine, one train/bus away but not the best place to stay.

Absolutely amazing stay. Location is perfect with Kyoto Imperial Palace Park just across the road and all public transport available within 1 minute walk. Hotel interior is super stylish, guest lounge area is very cozy and relaxing. Hotel staff is very kind and responsive. The rooms are clean with all facilities available. Rooms are also quite big, which is a good advantage because it's seem not to be common in Japan.

Excellent rooms one next to the other,Clean and great value for money.Good paid parking solution just across the street.We will come back.The common facilities are great.

Our room ceiling needs a bit of maintenance , yet everything was extremely clean

The bathroom is outside of the room. It is private but you need to remember to bring your key every time you go to bathroom
