Randor Residential Hotel Kyoto Suites

The room was spacious and love the toiletries

I was changed $2,000 yen for 2 hr early check in. I was also charged a tax fee per night per person, the added cost was not mentioned when I booked

It was very spacious. It accommodated our family of five very comfortable. The room was in pristine condition. The shower was amazing and it was a nice 15 min. walk to Kyoto station.

Very clean, quiet, a quick walk to the station and malls. VERY SPACIOUS!

The rooms are great and there are various transport options nearby. They have a terrace where smoking is permitted.

The place is clean and quite the size is great too

If they make more hangers or wardrobe it will be excellent ( we were a family of 6 getting the kids clothes organized was a bit of a challenge) not a deal breaker but an improvement on this will sure make families even happier to stay

It was clean, relatively inexpensive, easy access.

Large Room the toilet is so nice. Staff speaks English, has a free coffee and tea, but it will be wonderful if they also have Water Dispenser on the front desk.

Far from Stations. nearest is about 12-15 min walk

The suite was very spacious with a big bathtub and shower and a double sink. And the little kitchen was very nice too. Very quiet.

The staff barely speak English. And there’s no cleaning room until you leave. They provide towels but nothing else.

There was blood on the bathroom door knob. The bed was ok but the Japanese futon was not comfortable at all.

Location, cleanliness

Hidden charges, like you pay for every half hour of late checkout after 11 am, no tolerance.

The space was large and equipped with what we needed for our stay.

It was really dusty. We brought it to the attention of the staff who addressed our concerns by doing another pass over clean,but it still needs a deep clean of the place

A perfect place to stay for families.Close to the trains and restaurants.Easy to get to the shopping areas and tourist sites.

As we stayed in a family suite with a 17 year old child, we did find it a little noisy from younger kids in the hotel.It seemed to be a little echoey in the hall ways.

Nice big room, close to Kyoto station and Fushimi Inari and not too far from Gion.

The location was okay, although a little hard to find. The shower and spa bath.

We had a family of 5 and booked a family room, there was one bed and no futons when we arrived and it was fairly late so we were pretty tired. We asked for some and they gave us some that were moldy so we complained and they gave us new ones. The room wasn't really what I expected and the floors and chairs were stained. Also some small holes/dents in the wall. Not what we had come to expect in Japan and probably the most expensive place we stayed.

The residence was extremely clean. It had all the amenities that you would need for your stay. Sauna and jacuzzi tub was an added bonus especially after walking all day. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They definitely are fulfilling their goal to be number one in Tokyo!

this is not a 5 star hotel as advertised, it is more of a 3 star apartment rental. there was no employees or customer service when we arrived. The location was unclean with an automated check-in machine. We were unable to get into our room with the code but eventually someone met us to program a new room door code. They then proceeded to shout this door code thru the lobby where other guests were getting their luggage. This has made our stay feel far from secure.bottled water costs extra (added photo)The hallways were filled with garbage bags that were still there in the morning. (Added photo)The laundry room looks like a frat house (added photo)Once we entered the room it was spacious but with crooked pictures bolted to the walls, the sinks don’t have temperature adjustment and instead are the “sensor sinks” you would find in a public bathroom and are impossible to keep running (added photo)On the 2nd night of our stay an employee actually entered our room without even knocking in the middle of the night claiming he thought it was empty we have a video of this whole interaction as we thought someone was breaking in. This was a serious violation of our privacy and sense of security. My wife and I found it difficult to get to sleep after that. (I’ve attached screenshots from the video)End of the day, This building was just not very clean, not very secure and our stay is simply not as advertised. I would add more photos if it was possible.I recommend this listing be adjusted to prevent other customers from having this same misleading experience.

It is too far from public transportations. Because of the typical Japanese strictness, they don’t allow even a single minute of early check-in.
