As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates. The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows: brbr【Accommodation tax through 28 February 2026】  brFor room rates less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200   brFor room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 500   brFor room rates of JPY 50,000 or more: JPY 1,000  brbr【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】  brFor room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200   brFor room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400   brFor room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000   brFor room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000 brFor room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000   brbrFor the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax.  brPlease settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in. br/ Children under 6 years old can stay for free when sharing a bed with their parent(s). Guests aged 6 years and above are considered adults. Accommodation tax is applied depending on the rate (JPY200, JPY500 or JPY1,000 per person per night).
