Great location, great service, great staff!

The room was spacious with three beds, clean and also had a washer/dryer in the room which was a bonus!

The breakfast was troublesome, had to call them everyday for them to deliver a basket of breakfast items to the room. Lots of little packagings and we didn’t have a table in the room to set all the foods. Not much varieties either. No breakfast on Fridays. Location was ok, a bit of walk to the train station and restaurants. No view from windows.

It was a little far for the train station and restaurants. So, had to walk a lot in the hot weather.

We loved staying in the traditional Japanese style room. The breakfast each morning was cute and prepared well. Was close to everything we wanted to see and was a big room. Loved this place.

Very modern, clean, spacious and staff were amazing! They helped make dinner reservations for us , provided directions on how to get places, and even left breakfast for us in our fridge when we had to get up super early the next day to catch a train. Staff were so friendly and helpful!

The Japanese-style room looked amazing, and was mostly comfortable. The idea of having breakfast in the room was nice, though not the breakfast itself (see downsides). Washing machines are free. Hotel's quite close to subway, trains, buses, and Kyoto taxis are surprisingly cheap and ubiquitous so it's some 10 minutes by taxi from central station. There's no restaurant/bar at the hotel, but there's one next door and many others within 10-15 minutes walk. Staff was friendly. Free tea/coffee at the lounge room.

Don't count on breakfast - it's kinda OK but not really: yoghurt is sweetened, pastries are soggy and stale, soups are hit-and-miss. No choice provided. It's better to go outside or buy things you'd prefer at the supermarket.Room heating was OK but didn't warm the room enough as it heats the floor, and the floor is mostly covered with the bed, so beds were overheated while room was underheated. There was frequent humming noise from some machinery. Staff was nice but not helpful - I needed to find an English-speaking doctor and neither could they suggest one or at least offer to call, they also didn't inform me that it's a public holiday and clinics might be closed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful to me even though I didn't speak Japanese. They even helped me book Yamato Transport. Room was spacious, modern, with good AC. Very walkable to everything!

Very nice, clean, modern and centrally located hotel - perfect to explore Kyoto. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and proactively send a forgotten item to our next hotel - what a service!

Pillows are not comfortable

Spacious room, beautiful modern yet natural touches like real wood and paper doors. Beds were comfortable. Room cleaning each day included washing and drying our dishes and when you're traveling with kids, what a luxury! The rice paper screens slid shut for some separation from the kids. Free laundry was so helpful. Location fantastic for a quiet retreat but only 7-12 minutes from major shopping and dining. Loved it!

One washer dryer was broken so there was only one set for the entire hotel. Took some strategizing to get a load done. Also, the room needs 2 more drawers. If the bedside tables could have storage in them it would have been perfect. There's lot of space to put things, but not places to put things out of the way.

Location was great, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants, but far enough to achieve peace and quiet. Everything was clean, staff was friendly.

Minor point, but when we asked for 30-60m later checkout (from 11am) they said they'd charge us for that. I know that's not unheard of, but felt nickel/dimed and misaligned w/ the way we were treated during the rest of our stay.

Everything perfect.Comfortable room, clean, big, one key for each guest, bathroom with anything needed. While waiting for the room to be ready we prepared ourselves a tea and a coffee in the available waiting room, very nice and comfortable.Unfortunately we stayed here only one night, but it was the best stay in our whole trip, definitely recommended!
