The hotel is located in a beautiful building. Rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. Location is perfect - near shopping and the Gion district.

Location in the public spaces, floor three and eight
The room is extremely small without sufficient space to sit at a desk or table, no chair other than a lounge, inability to open the closet door because the bed is in the way, and multiple areas that two people cannot pass each other without One moving out of the way. However, the rooms are well equipped with amenities. The breakfast was excellent. But the rules are oppressively chincy. For example, to check out at noon instead of 11 AM. The hotel wants to charge over ¥3000.
The staff was very courteous, helpful, and pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations.
Enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The room was extremely spacious, the beds, fresh and comfortable, the bathroom set up amazing, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the nightly visitor room where refreshments were served and one could step out onto the patio with the fire pit. Just fabulous! The staff was incredibly helpful on every front.

Lounge with tea and snacks was nice, lobby on 8th floor along with restaurant had wonderful views on all weather. Do not miss Japanese breakfast—truly a highlight of our trip!
Great location in Kyoto. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. The hotel is a very clean kept facility and has a great view of the city from the 8th floor dining and bar area.
The fitness room only had 2 treadmills and 2 other cardio machines that I forget. There are no weights at all. A hotel like this definitely should have such equipment.
