Overall, it was a good stay. The staff were really kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made a big difference. The location is convenient and the facilities are generally good and well maintained.

The rooms could be improved, especially considering that the price is higher compared to other hostels/hotels in this area and Japan overall

It was confortable and good location

On the day for check out it was a rainy day, I ask the people at the front desk if I could make use of the common areas while the rain stopped and unfortunately I was given a no. I thought this was a bit of inconvenience

The location is very close to the subway station as it takes a few minutes to walk. There is a convenience store right down the street so helps out with luggage drop off or if you want to grab a quick snack. Enjoyed walking down the streets and felt safe at night.

It’s close to Gojo station and many restaurants and cafe around. The staff is super nice and helpful.

Modern and clean. The shower space is luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped. Quietness is enforced at night. Location is central. Lockers are large enough for luggages

great location. close to food options and transport but the hotel was on a quiet street and far away enough from the busy street. kyoto station was only a 20 minute walk.

breakfast was very basic. the dryer machine didn't do a very good job. we had to do multiple run of the machine to dry our clothes.

It was very clean, including the bathroom areas! We were able to communicate with the staff. The beds were comfortable, probably the softest we had in Japan. It was nice to have the kitchen option, though we didn't use it except for tea and water. The location was wonderful.

We had some noisy neighbors, which isn't really the fault of the place. We could hear doors shutting and people talking through the night. But like I said, this isn't the hotel's fault, except for maybe thin walls. Just bring ear plugs ?

The staff was amazing and welcoming! There was a nice light breakfast of toast and spreads. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

I stayed in the top bunk and it was not properly cleaned. There was some trash from the previous person left in between the mattress and the wall. I felt the price was expensive for a hostel, especially when you share the room with five other people. It’s part of the hostel experience, but in the morning you may have to wait for a sink in the bathroom. I just wanted to brush my teeth, but there were many people using just the mirrors to get ready for the day.

The faicilities were very clean. The place was very quiet and calming. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Clean bathroom and bed size is fine.

Only 1 convenience store close to the hostel. May need to have some walk to the main road.

Very comfortable bed, extremely clean facility. Cold water/tea/coffee available all day. Not too far from stations or attractions, quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is toast and hot drink

The room need improve odor extract, location is very practice and the clean is good

It has few bathrooms

Decent sized bathroom and shower. Close enough to bus stops and stations. Elevator and stairs. Easy to move about.

Room was very small. Especially with the clothing rack and table and chairs they shove into it. Would have been better off without both. Shoes have to be taken off at door (totally fine with this) however the slippers they provided were so small they never fit. Additionally to carry shoes to room they have to be in a plastic bag. A lot of unnecessary waste. Would have also been nice to pay in advance when tax cost less instead of paying at property.

There is a Mini Mart across the street and a 6 min walk to the nearest train station and McDonalds. You can easily walk the neighborhood and find multiple restaurants. From the description, I thought the property was closer to the Nishiki Market then it actually is. so that was a bid disappointing but lovely hotel and staff.

The hotel does not allow shoes; you have to remove your shoes before you enter the facility. Although this is the culture in Japan, we were not expecting this. I've stayed at hotels were it is an option for your personal room and onsen, but not the entire facility.

Mattress was comfortable, spacious storage was provided with lock in the room, and the common facilities were very clean.

Bottom bunk was essentially on the floor. The bunk was fairly spacious, but unfortunately dirty around the edges of the mattress/walls in the bunk (hair, food crumbs, etc.)

Overall really good hotel with nice stay.

One minus was the breakfast bread, butter and jam. everyone was buying additional food from 7-11..

Clean, great location, comfortable. Love having a sink in my room. It was very nice to have secured luggage storage too.

It was great, nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was provided, and it was located at a spot near the subway station and also the bus stops. A little walking is needed, though.

The cabins/beds were quite big, which was pretty comfortable.All amenities I could need were in the hostel with a konbini next to it too.The lounge with a kitchen was also a plus.
