Samurai House

Beautifully renovated with an additional toilet upstairs which was really important for a family. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment and the futons was really comfortable.Would definitely recommend!

It was a slightly longer walk from the station than anticipated with toddlers (particularly from the other side of the station), but really easy and convenient to get taxis and bus stops close.

Mikiko at Samurai House was a wonderful and caring host. The property is very clean and tidy, and has excellent facilities. It is a 10-15 min walk from Nagoya Station, which is very convenient. The interior is very unique and made the stay more enjoyable.

Excellent. The host was very helpful. Ensured we had transport to the train station since we had quite a number of luggage. Good quality fittings. Wonderful bed. Slept so well.

This trip to Nagoya was absolutely amazing, especially being able to stay in such a great accommodation for an entire week. The host responded very promptly, and all the facilities were perfect. The washer and dryer were particularly convenient, and the kitchen utensils were not only clean but also fully equipped. The bathtub was another highlight—soaking in it after a long day of traveling was incredibly relaxing, leaving me refreshed and energized for the next day’s itinerary.If I have the chance to visit Nagoya again in the future, I will definitely choose this accommodation again. It was simply perfect!

Everything is wonderful!

The property was well maintained and clean. Beautifully designed.

The only thing I would have liked is a place where to put our luggage. We had to leave it in the front entrance, they have a space being used as a front desk which I think should be used for luggage space or storage. Other than that we he place is beautiful.

One of the best stays in Japan all together, we were welcome even tough we arrived earlier then expected, very clean and extremely comfy, we even had a Nintendo on which we played a bit after a long walk within Nagoya. We will surely visit again

The beds were very comfortable, place was very clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped -- cutlery and equipment looked new with a whole range of kids cutlery provided. The kids were very happy. We could also walk to the Nagoya station and a supermarket in 10 minutes. We changed our minds last minute about calling a taxi but Mikiko helped us to get one.

Some mosquitoes flew in when we opened the windows/door.

Samurai House is spotless. Beds are very comfortable. Quilts are soft, light but very warm. We had the best sleep during the trip! Mikiko is super nice and helpful. We forgot to book dinner and all good restaurants were full. Mikiko kept calling different good rating restaurants until she managed to book us in. Food was delicious with very reasonable price.

The house is very comfortable. Our second time staying over. They have plates and cups for children. I like their clothes dryer, very efficient. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

We love the heated floor, it has everything you need including toys for kids. Washing machine and gas dryer were really great too. Bedroom is spacious and the futon was comfortable. Staff are very friendly and prompt in responding to messages. I wish we had booked a longer stay.

Immaculately presented; very helpful & professional staff for check in; stylish decor with attention to detail; a clothes rack so we could hang wet towels & washing!; comfortable futon beds; 1 large sleeping area; highly recommend for a family or couple.

The only minor thing, which may not be an issue for most, is only 1 key for the front door, so you need to coordinate who has the key if your group wants to go out & return at different times.

Great size for a family, with wonderful Japanese style! Even some bikes for convenience. Terrific location about 15 min walk from Nagoya Station.

Samurai House is in a great location, walking distance from the train station. The accommodation is beautiful with everything you could need. Wonderful staff! Extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

It is located in a quiet local residential area where we can experience the Japanese local culture closely. And the house is exceptionally clean, beautiful, and very well maintained, it has everything we need! And what’s the best is that it has smart TV, game and English comics book for the kids and we can literally stay in the house as long without wanting to go out .

It is a bit far from Nagoya station, only one bathroom for a big family, but it is not a big deal for us if as we have very good time management .

for those who do not drive, it can be a distance from Nagoya Station.

Samurai House was easily my family's favourite accommodation for our entire Japan trip. The cleanliness was second to none and despite us causing a mix up and delay with check in the staff were still exceptional. Samurai House caters for everything you'll need. It was a sanctuary for my family and we were sad to only stay one night.

We loved the house and everything about it and all 5 of us hope to go back some day soon.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and very modern with old style charm.

The house is about a mile away from the train station and I didn't realize how far it really was until we started walking with luggage. Should have taken a taxi. Next time, I will pay more attention to the descriptions on the website.
