    Pros +

    • The room, although compact was slightly bigger than others that I had stayed at in Japan. I liked the public bath and the sleepwear provided.
    • Convenient location, very helpful and nice staff in the reception desk. Nice view from the window, tasty breakfast.
    • We booked for connecting twin rooms for a family of 4 and the kids have had a good sleep on the comfortable beds, and there were video-on-demand, which showed kids' cartoons which offered them some entertainment while the adults prepared and packed. The hotel's location also offers convenience that Don Quijote (Don Don Donki - hypermarket) was just a stone's throw away.

    Cons -

    • The sensor light in the ceiling in front of the bathroom door cannot be switched off and it is within direct eyeline of the bed so if anyone gets up in the night to use the bathroom, it switches on and wakes the other person.
    • Extremely small room. Just bed and almost no space left.
    • The rooms were a little small as we often had to push the luggage(s) somewhere else so that we could have a little space to move around the rooms.

The reception staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was done at the reception counter and check-out was via a machine. Our room was clean/tidy and well-presented when we arrived. We also received bottled water. We stayed in a non-smoking room and could not smell any smoke in the corridors or lift during our stay. There are laundry and public bath facilities in the hotel, but we did not use them due to the short duration of our stay. The bed was comfortable but took up most of the room. Although there was just enough space for two people to move around and have two large suitcases open in the hallway of our room, it still felt slightly cramped. The door separating the toilet and shower/bath was good for keeping out moisture. The wash hand basin was located in the hallway of our room, so we had to exit the bathroom to wash our hands but it was convenient for us to fill up the kettle and drink bottles. The hotel is an 8 min walk from Fushimi Station or an 18 min walk from Nagoya Station. There are many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores around the hotel. The neighbourhood felt safe and it was quiet at night (no traffic or party sounds could be heard).

    The rooms were clean

We booked a standard double room and it was extremely small.Based on the photos we thought that there would be enough space to open at least one suitcase but there was none!Two-third of the room was the bathroom. The sink is at the entry area taking up a lot of space, the toilet area was separated together with the shower AND a bathtub. So unnecassary and very bad use of space. No space at all to store clothes or personal items. We ended up storing our belongings in the TOILET since it was the most spacios. After a long day of discovering Nagoya we wanted to sit at a table to read a book and play a board game but there is no possibility for that in this hotel. Besides the small lobby there is no community area at all. So don't even think about using a table here.

The shower/toilet space is really nice. There's a 7-11 just downstairs.

Not so many electricity plugs on the table.

little bit far from nagoya station, bathroom was very big and women’s only floor was very nice

Thanks to BOOKING.COMBOOKING.COM gave us a Standard Twin.

Not able to hang our washed clothing.

I like the public SPA, very comfortable. The twin bed room is clean and not too small. There is a supermarket and right next to the hotel. We enjoyed our staying.

The location is closer to bus stop, If you want to take the subway, it's 10 minutes walking.

The hotel is well-located, and having recently been renovated, it offers modern and well-maintained amenities. There is an onsen available for free use, which, while not very large, is decent for a hotel situated in the city center. The breakfast is quite good and recommended for breakfast lovers. The price for the breakfast buffet is reasonable, making it worth paying extra if the room rate doesn’t already include breakfast.

The room was relatively small, as is typical for hotel rooms in Japan. However, given the high price during our stay, it felt a bit overpriced and not entirely worth the cost.

Good location with lots of food options within walking distance.

A bit far from train stations. Public bath was a bit small and crowded. Limited washers (4 for whole hotel) meant that you have to keep a close lookout for availability.

    9ShanPosted on: 11-27-2024

The room is large by Japanese standard which is a huge plus point. Location was great, next to a small shopping mall with Don Quihote and a convenience store right across the street. Hotel was also near a bus stop which is a more convenient way of getting around Nagoya city. A lot of eateries and stores nearby as well

Parking was limited and on the pricey side as payment is required per entry instead of by day. The public baths were also quite crowded during peak hours. For such a large hotel, they should consider a bigger bath

    10XinPosted on: 11-15-2024

Great location, a Donki right next door! Helpful and friendly staff. Room was spacious enough for a 28" luggage to be opened and with walking space around it.

    Lack of hanging hooks.

    8PadaraPosted on: 11-11-2024

Onsen available. Taxi is super easy to find. Walking distance to many restaurants.

The parking in the front was limited, even you can use the back parking one, you still needed to drive to the front for pickup and dropoff the bags.

    7FriedelPosted on: 8-9-2024

Very clean. Great air conditioning (important in August, it was 40C).

    Rooms were tiny.

    9PaulPosted on: 7-13-2024

booked a room with 3 beds, which can fit 2 adults and 2 children. located in a central area, there are a lot of restaurants. A supermarket / shopping mall (DONQI) is next to door. staff are super nice, and can answer in English.

breakfast is just ok, need to put instruction on how to use TV and how to use telphone (takes some time to figure out how to use these...)

Good location, good value for money.

    A bit outdated.

    9RosellePosted on: 5-3-2024

Good location! Clean and newish hotel. Very friendly and responsive staff!

Parking was bad, toilet paper was very thin and rough.
