Pros +
- The reception staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was done at the reception counter and check-out was via a machine. Our room was clean/tidy and well-presented when we arrived. We also received bottled water. We stayed in a non-smoking room and could not smell any smoke in the corridors or lift during our stay. There are laundry and public bath facilities in the hotel, but we did not use them due to the short duration of our stay. The bed was comfortable but took up most of the room. Although there was just enough space for two people to move around and have two large suitcases open in the hallway of our room, it still felt slightly cramped. The door separating the toilet and shower/bath was good for keeping out moisture. The wash hand basin was located in the hallway of our room, so we had to exit the bathroom to wash our hands but it was convenient for us to fill up the kettle and drink bottles. The hotel is an 8 min walk from Fushimi Station or an 18 min walk from Nagoya Station. There are many restaurants, cafes and convenience stores around the hotel. The neighbourhood felt safe and it was quiet at night (no traffic or party sounds could be heard).

Cons -
- We booked a standard double room and it was extremely small. Based on the photos we thought that there would be enough space to open at least one suitcase but there was none! Two-third of the room was the bathroom. The sink is at the entry area taking up a lot of space, the toilet area was separated together with the shower AND a bathtub. So unnecassary and very bad use of space. No space at all to store clothes or personal items. We ended up storing our belongings in the TOILET since it was the most spacios. After a long day of discovering Nagoya we wanted to sit at a table to read a book and play a board game but there is no possibility for that in this hotel. Besides the small lobby there is no community area at all. So don't even think about using a table here.
