    Pros +

    • Good room, big enough for 3 people. The room is spacious and the bed is big enough for all of us. Comfortable with public bath
    • Never come again.
    • Convenient location.

    Cons -

    • The cleanliness, and we encountered bugs [centipede], and the staff wasn't of so much help
    • Breakfast not that good, restroom smell and I fell down in restroom due to the mini step, room so small I have to put my big luggage on bed. Price too high. I thought I pay high to get a good breakfast there but regret it. My old hotel close there half the price much better ?
    • Some staff are very nice, just like other nice hotels in Japan. But there were some that didn’t meet that expectations. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

English speaking staff is available. Check in & out is very quick. Very close to Sakae Station for easy access to railway stations around Nagoya. Walkable to Sakae and Osu shopping districts. The public bath, which is open from 3pm until 10 the next morning, is very spacious, with hot and cool baths, a dry sauna, and an outdoor seating area. Vending machines offer soft drinks and alcohol plus some snacks - variety varies from floor to floor. Extremely affordable and an excellent value for what’s offered.

The breakfast price seemed a bit high for what was offered. Certain foods were colder than expected. But it is an open buffet that allows you to eat as much as you like.

Just an average low-range but pricey worn-out hotel with a tiny bathroom for even taking a shower (low ceiling), a short bed, and not much extra space.

The public bath had one hot and one cold bath; amenities were non-existent; make sure to bring your own everything.Towels are small. The sauna can fit 2 ppl max.Not impressed, have seen better. Please clean the fridges as well.Overall, the price didn't match the quality, so I probably will not stay there again.

The location is perfect, near to shopping area and there’s few convenient store nearby. Additionally close walk to Science Museum, 20mins walk to Nagoya Castle, 20mins walk to Osu.

A little bit noisy from other rooms. You can hear from the thin wall

Convenience of restaurants in the property. You could choose from different types. Parking is in the same building not really part of the hotel however I was rushed by the staff to complete parking handed ticket which I thought I lost then pushed to the side when tried to get my vehicle. I was not told by hotel staff they would validate my parking so it was lots of back and forth.

I like the area of Sakae. It's busy and you have a lot of things to do. There are many restaurant options, it's near Donki, and accessible to a lot of things. It's easy to walk to and from Sakae Station. We booked a triple room and it was spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. Their public bath is great. I always go there every night. :)

Love the location, the hotel is very convenience ( Sakae Area). It's a city hotel so the parking lot is expensive in downtown. The hotel provided the parking space with parking fee for 1500 JYP. per day which is cheaper than the others parking lot. The front service speak English fluently . The only one thing I don't like is on the day we arrived there might be a big group of Chinese tourist stay at the upper floor and the stomp the feet when they walk that make loud noise from the ceiling it was like someone running around above my head. (The hotel floor might be too thin. ) but this problem can be solved after I can front office and ask him to call the upper floor guest to stop stomp there feet. May be the hotel should have a sign in the room the inform the guest to gently walk due to the floor is not absorb the noise.

The rooms are large and very clean. The beds are sooooo comfortable especially after hitting the bath house. The location is perfect, it's close to shopping streets, markets, restaurants and convenience stores. The staff are also very helpful. The buffet breakfast was lovely, however if you are coeliac they really don't have many options. So paying for the full buffet may not be worth it.

    Location and that is it.

Old run down hotel. Rubbish under bed from previous guests. Needs a huge refurbishment.

    6ThanyaluckPosted on: 1-11-2025

The location was great and the breakfast was nice. From a review of male members in my family (during our stay, the female onsen was under maintenance) was great.

Not very sure why the staff who was checking us in was a little strange and giving us a bit of unwelcoming vibe even one of our member is fluent in Japanese so language wasn't the factor. The room it self was very old (some part was refurbish which does resemble the photos but the rest of the room remains very old), the bathroom was the OG small and compact. My duvet got a huge suspicious stain in a very concerning color as well.

    The spa

Do not have lotion, cotton, ear swab. You will pay if you ask.

    8DarcyPosted on: 12-17-2024

The hotel and rooms looked nice. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The internet was also good.

The staff did lack some English; obviously it's not an expectation, but it would have been nice.

    5JoshPosted on: 12-10-2024

The property is accessible to shopping malls, izakayas, can walk to sakae. Near konbini shops so can go for a quick run if you get hungry. We had the renovated floor/room so the room is probably newer.

Although the hotel is decent, there’s just so many cons that it is not value for money. Reception desk is at level 2 and you have to take an escalator to bring your luggages up/down. Reception desk barely speaks english, communication is so difficult. They have no luggage forwarding service as well. Inside the room: the bed is hard and isn’t comfortable to sleep on. the next day everyday our body hurts aside from our tired feet. Most hotels in Japan already provide personal care but this hotel only gives you toothbrush, nothing else. So better bring your own. Water heater isnt consistent, water suddenly becomes too hot just when you thought you were able to control the temp nicely. Aircon isnt consistent as well, can get too warm at night. Tv is basic, not even smart tv, you only get local channels.

    Good location.

Renew room not good enough. Poor and old feeling and style.

    7TintinPosted on: 12-3-2024

Near in the the popular places. very convenient place.

the toilet and the bathroom is not separate and the public parking is very exposed if you have a car.

    8SiriwanPosted on: 11-30-2024

The room is big. Good location. Parking lot is good. Staffs are friendly.

The hotel should change the blankets, and should have 2 pillows per person.
