Hotel is in a good location, around 5 minutes walk from the main Nagoya station. There is also an underground entrance to the subway/underground mall right in front of the hotel which has a lot of food options available. The room is clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet while not a lot of options, has a pretty good spread of local Nagoya specialties
The room heating/air-conditioning was a bit hard to set to desired temperature.
wonderful hotel only one point I dd not like, you can not open te window, just a little bit would have been nice, it gave me a very claustrophobic feeling. It was possible to open te window with a special key but they were not willing to do that.
Not possible to open the window.
The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from Nagoya Train Station and is located on one of the large streets, making it very easy to find. There is also a large underground walkway with many shops and restaurants that makes it convenient to reach the Train and Bus stations. The hotel is modern, friendly and efficient staff, and a great breakfast with authentic local dishes. The room was nicely appointed, adequately spacious, and very clean. We stayed 4 nights and were very comfortable.
We enjoyed this hotel and recommend it.
Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Easy access to Nagoya Station via underground UniMall. Use exit U10 which is on the corner of the hotel and by convenience stores. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast with Japanese dishes was delicious, especially the french toast.
Clean convenience good staff
Location is good near lots of restaurants and close of the station and the room size was great enough space for luggage and to walk and good size beds
It was clean and close ish enough to the major station. Loved that it was right next to a konbini to get my tamago sandos and famichiki.
I thought for the price, the amenities were just okay.
Location was great! Walkable to major station (Nagoya) with access to subway, bus, trains. A Family Mart was on the hotel GF, a few steps into Unimall with lots of places to eat and shop. Room size was fine. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was typical size for Japan. Public bath was a great feature. Breakfast was great, good value for money.
TV was defective in our room (can't stream) and we were asked to switch rooms (which was a hassle as we have unpacked). Upon notifying we were ready to transfer rooms, we were instructed to go back to the lobby with all our luggage an in our pajamas to get the key to the new room. Could be a language barrier issue/miscommunication. But a big hassle nonetheless.
For a 3 star hotel it was excellent. I didn't have a chance to use the restaurant but it looked good. Location was very good. Glose to the station with many shops, restaurants, and bars near by.
Everything was good. The carpet was ripped in spots, but for a 3 star property I didn't expect that much.
Room was small but nice. I love that there was Ethernet connection.
Breakfast was so so. The coffee machine in the lobby should be available earlier than 7am. WiFi wasn’t very strong in my room.
The location of the hotel is very good. Within a few hundred meters, you will find nice restaurants and access to the main subway hub in the city. Breakfast is also very good, with a variety of food that will please all kinds of palates.
The hotel furniture and general structures are a bit run-down. It looks like it will need a deep renovation very soon. The hotel sento is not exactly comfortable and there is no sauna. Further, for some strange reason, elevators are apparently programmed to always stop at the second floor, where reception is located.
The staff were very friendly. The check-in machine was convenient, but my friend and I ran into a hiccup, due to her already living in Japan. They asked for her passport, even though the machine said we could skip that, if they lived in the country already. However, the staff resolved it quickly. I appreciated all of the amenities. I did laundry while there and my friend said the public bath was nice. I also liked that they held our bags for us, while we explored Nagoya.
I have no real complaints. If I had to pick one, I'd say location. However, it wasn't bad. I'd stay here again!
Staff was helpful and friendly, the onsen was clean, and the location was good.
The beds were too firm for me, I even checked out early because of it.
Breakfast was exceptional. The room was clean and very nice. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Hotel is conveniently located near Nagoya station. Rooms size is normal by Japanese standards but clean. Only wished they had shower cubicles instead of showering in the bath tub. Wifi was good. Breakfast was over-rated for the price.
showering in the bath tub.
Close proximity to a train and subway station. The hotel was clean and very quiet. The small room is a norm in Japan; its bed was quite comfortable. The staff was very nice, and had no problem communicating in English. But Nagoya City itself seemed less accommodative to tourists when compared to Tokyo or Fukuoka. It'll be better for anyone to learn and speak basic Japanese before traveling to the city - which may be true for anyone seeking to visit any country.
Nothing much regarding the hotel. The only thing was it was hard to spot a coffee machine in the 2nd floor lobby as it was in between walls with no signs. Wished it had operated the machine early in the morning for those checking out early. Found out the hotel served free coffees via online comments, but the hotel staff was very kind to show us. The city really didn't offer much as a tourist destination. Suggest visiting Nagoya for a day via a high-speed train, while traveling in other places in Japan.
