What Guests Loved
Based on 91 reviews
Pros +
- It was conveniently located with an easy walk to Nagoya Station. I’ve seen some mixed reviews about the breakfast, but my husband and I loved trying it at least once. Large variety and you could probably find something you’d enjoy if you’re picky (but we liked being able to try a little of everything). The staff was wonderful. They were the ultimate professionals as we threw a handful of requests and questions at them in English/kindergarten level Japanese when we first arrived — and they were so patient, kind and accommodating. Also close to some great food spots as well as a Lawson’s across the street and 7/11 up the block.
- The beds were comfortable and large. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bathroom was lovely, and the full sized bath was appreciated. The room was well stocked with amenities and had a massage and laundry facility that we used.
- Location.
Cons -
- I would clarify the other comments about things being a little outdated — I think the hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are huge (compared to some other places that we stayed at. But I think what people meant was that specifically the bathrooms were slightly older. Like our sink was slow to drain and the toilets were a little older. But that didn’t bother us overall considering it was more of your standard American sized room and everything else was so great.
- I book a room enable for smoking and they only used air purifier to reduce the smoke. Using air purifier isn’t good enough. The whole room like no air even we on the air con. The breakfast too decent.
- No coin laundry within hotel. No coffee machine at breakfast . Have to add own milk to coffee to make latte.

Room layout is longish type. But still works. Breakfast looks into the street which is nice.
No coin laundry within hotel. No coffee machine at breakfast . Have to add own milk to coffee to make latte.
Good location. Walking distance to Nagoya station. Big shopping centers nearby, so plenty of food options.Meeting point for day tours is also within walking distance from the hotel.
I originally booked 2 rooms and wanted to be connecting, so I dropped the reservation team a message request. They only informed me that my rooms were not connecting when I checked in. Fortunately, the rooms were still on the same floor
Booked 2 rooms because the system didn’t allow me to book a large room for my family of five. Hotel was kind enough to give us a connecting room so we could all hang out in the same space. Rooms are comfortable, but hotel’s age does show a bit in the decor, walls, furniture. But still comfy. The walking distance to Nagoya JR station, Takashimaya and the many shops made it really convenient. Loved that there’s a Lawson just across the road so we ate onigiri for breakfast before our road trips. The fried famous fried chicken place opposite was also great for suppers! We wld recommend this hotel still!
The hotel staff spoke halting English so communication was quite difficult, so we did not engage them as much in the end and just tried to figure things out ourselves. Lobby is a little dark and often deserted but we don’t hang out there much anyway. The hotel’s distance to JR, food options, shopping made up for these cons.
The rooms were spacious and were abled to get connecting rooms Location is perfect as it's very close to the station and Lawson's is right across the street.Staff at the reception were helpful when needed Finally they have the luggage transfer service available
The side table was dusty as long as we were staying there The hair combs are found at the reception, they could just add one in the room for easier access when needed The view wasn't nice at all
Close to main station.Easy check-in.Multilingual.
At some point within the 2 hotels, we stayed at (Tokyo & Nagoya) cleaning staff at one of the hotels stole $600 from us. No one has "found" the money, and I've filed a police report. Obviously, it's our fault for trusting that they wouldn't steal, but using this as to reiterate for travelers. ALWAYS be careful with your belongings.
It’s in a good location, very close to the station and all the places to eat. The room were spacious
The wifi is so weak.
Good value, minutes walk from the station
Insufficient ventilation in our bathroom. There were visible signs of mold on the vents coming from the AC unit...
The size of the room is much bigger than your typical hotel in Japan. It was very roomy and comfortable. The location also is very convenient since it's only a couple minutes walk from Nagoya station and the express train to the airport. Konbinis and restaurants are also close by to the hotel
Cleanliness could be improved.
The location is excellent, very close to all public transport. The rooms are very generous in size. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
If anything, the beds/pillows were a little uncomfortable.
Mattress was very comfortable. The size of room was perfect for a family to stay. The water pressure from shower head was very good and room was clean and neat.
The lighting system was a bit old but all works fine.
it’s near the station and staff were nice
carpet floors were little dirty
Location was great. 3 minutes from JR Nagoya station. Lots of food and shopping options surrounding the hotel.
Beds are very hard, but I am sure if I asked, something could have been done to assist.
Great location, spacious room, lovely service. The breakfast was wonderful.
Convenient location close to the train station and other attractions. Well sized rooms (for Japan) and friendly accommodating staff. Buffet breakfast was nice.
Not really a criticism, but the hotel’s decor is dated.
The location is great! Near Nagoya Station.
The property is old and the room needs refurbishment. There is no dining facility to eat except for breakfast!
good breakfast & location, value for money
The hotel is conveniently located close to Nagoya Station, allowing for both ease of transport and a huge choice of places to eat at. The room was fairly spacious, which allowed me to work out. The bed was comfortable, while the pillows were above-average in terms of support. The breakfast that I had was also sufficient for my needs.
While the room was quite spacious, I have to admit that I was expecting something a bit larger based on the pictures provided. Beyond that, no real complaints.
