Nagoya Kanayama Hotel

On the positive side, the room cleaning was good, and the washing machines were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was limited and not very tasty. The location, however, was excellent — close to the station with many shops and restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during our stay. There was a strong smell from the café ventilation in the room, and in one room the window was broken and could not be closed properly, making the room very cold. In another room, the shower had poor drainage and was leaking, leaving the bathroom floor wet for a long time after each use, which was quite inconvenient. The water quality was also unexpected — after showering, our skin felt very dry, so this hotel may not be suitable for guests with allergies or sensitive skin.

This hotel is so close to Kanayama station that you can arrive at here within a few minutes from Kanayama station. And, Kanayama is very convenient to hangout both Sakae area and Nagoya station area.

The room is a little bit too small to open your large size suitcase on the floor!

Nice enough business hotel in a good central location right next to Kanayama station. Standard rooms are pretty tiny (even by Japanese hotel standards) and not quite so well designed as others I've used. Breakfast was ok and the bath is a bonus.

Clean, comfortable, good location just a short walk from Kanayama station, a decent breakfast, value for money, a nice hot public bath and nice staff.

The rooms are a bit small but that's Japan for you so I wont hold that against them!

Great hotel and excellent location to roam around Nagoya. Staff was great and spoke English. The breakfast is also very good !

The place is really close to Nagoya train station, it's literally across the street, and you don't have to walk a lot around to get there from the station. They have a nice restaurant on the 10th floor, that's where they serve the breakfast in the morning, and in the evening you can go there to have dinner at extra charge. Prices for dinner were very affordable, and their dishes were really great. They also have this japanese-style public bathroom, which was really awesome in the evenings after a long day.

Nice bathroom, much better than many Japanese hotels of the same rank.5. Having an onsen is always a plus.

Breakfast selection was outstanding. The Bath was wonderful and relaxing. The location right by the train station was perfect.

The rooms were too small for a longer stay. There wasn't any place to store belongings.

Hotel staff and service were exceptional. Enjoyed the variety in the breakfast buffet.

The room and bathroom were a bit small but still very comfortable, especially since I didn't spend a whole day at the hotel. The staff was very nice and the spa in the hotel was also quite enjoyable.

Great breakfast. Convenient location next to Kanayama station. Stayed here for a business trip and it was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Would highly recommend for anyone needing to stay in this area of Nagoya.

It locates very near Kanayama station and surrounding by restaurants , convenient stores etc.Nice location to stay.

Excellent location, with only a few minutes walking distance to the train station. Hot baths was a bonus for us, kids really liked it. Breakfast was also good, if you sit at the terrance there are good views to outside.

Room is a bit small, but anyways that was known at the time of booking.
