    • The rooms were so spacious and clean. A lot of spaces for my luggage and still sitting areas for enjoying late night snacks in the room. One of my room was with a queen size bed. The bed was so big and comfy. This hotel is totally exceeded my expectation. We asked recommendation for restaurant around the area. The front desk even called and booked the restaurant for us at the same night during the year end when the restaurant bookings were always full. We had a great meal. Thank you for their help. We had a family of 6 so we need to book 2 separate rooms for our one night stay. The hotel was so considerate that putting our rooms next to each other.
    • We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Nagoya! The location in Sakae was perfect—it’s in a quieter part of the area, so you get peace and comfort, but just a few steps away is the lively side filled with bars, restaurants, shops, and everything you might need. GU and Uniqlo were less than a 10-minute walk away, plus Donki and so many other stores were nearby as well. And the best part? Both 7/11 and Family Mart were literally just downstairs. The room size was surprisingly spacious, especially for Japan standards, which made our stay extra comfortable. The staff were absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful. They even provided a cot for our baby, which we truly appreciated.Although the lobby is located on the second floor, it wasn’t an issue at all—if you need assistance, the staff can easily reverse the escalator direction for your convenience.Overall, we had an amazing experience and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Nagoya. Highly recommended!
    • Very clean, comfortable and close enough to Nagoya station for a quick stay on your way from Tokyo to Osaka. Friendly staff as well.

    Cons -

    • Nothing!
    • The lighting in the room was way too dim.
    • Only one washer/dryer with complicated directions. The cafe was closed on Sunday and we only found one in the area offering a small breakfast.

Location - close to Nagoya station. Attached parkade for rental.

The lighting in the room was way too dim.

Very nice decor in lobby and into the hallways and room itself. Great location. Staff was very helpful. Amenities were v very nice. Felt comfy.

Only one washer/dryer with complicated directions. The cafe was closed on Sunday and we only found one in the area offering a small breakfast.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast bentos were very tasty. I did like to use the washing machines. I went early in the morning and they were always available.

The hotel was further away from the train station than I had anticipated. We ended up taking taxis between the hotel and Nagoya station if we had luggage (and it did not cost a lot, probably due to the distance).

The Trusty Hotel had a very reasonable nightly price, a good location, a super clean bathroom, exceptional staff, and is overall a fine hotel for a night or two. It was quiet and peaceful. For the price, location and cleanliness etc. I'd stay there again for a quick trip.

It's not a big hotel and has no lobby in which to sit if one is inclined to do so. There is a cafe/restaurant next to the check in counter, but I'm not sure if it's a part of the hotel. We had to buy morning take out coffee there twice. The first day was okay, but the second morning at about 8:00 am they were closed and I was told no coffee by a young woman. An older man said okay please wait. I had to pick up from the check in counter a breakfast "bento" consisting of fried chicken rice balls, pickles and some other Japanese food items that I couldn't eat. We canceled the second day's breakfast and ate out. The breakfast situation isn't one that I care for or recommend unless you love a traditional Japanese style breakfast with no coffee included.

very big room according to Japanese room standard

a bit far from metro, but still in walkable distance

The facility was clean and the check in/check out process was very easy. The front desk staff was very helpful in booking a massage. The masseuse did not speak any English, but we were able to communicate via Google Translate well enough.

The hallways were warm at times, they opened the windows to circulate exterior air through the interior hallways in the middle of the summer heat.

Close to the station and convenience store. Great service from staff.

The room smell like cigarettes although it was a non-smoking room. It was the first smell when walking in the room.

Large hotel room for Japan standards. Bed was comfortable and had 2 pillows which we don't find common in Japan. Bathroom was clean. Room came with bottled water which was nice. Fresh towels available daily. Staff were friendly and some spoke great English. There is an escalator to the first floor where reception and the lifts are. When you checkout you can ask for the escalator to be switched directions so you can ride it down, this was great as it was the end of our trip and our suitcase was very heavy.

Subway station is only a 7min walk away however there is only stairs no lift or escalator at that stop. We ended up catching a taxi to the main train station instead, it cost ¥1000 so worth it.

The room was surprisingly spacious for an inexpensive Japanese business hotel, especially for the price. It was very clean and comfortable and had a number of places to sit down besides the bed which were much appreciated.

The lobby is up an escalator from an open air first floor and the door was behind some sort of other company so it was a bit confusing to find where to check in initially.

    9GiancarloPosted on: 5-25-2025

Room was cleaned daily. Fresh towels and bottled water provided daily as well. Very near to shopping areas and convenience stores. Also not that far from Fushimi station.

Only 2 small elevators and did not have any escalator going down from the 2nd floor so I needed to use the stairs while carrying 20kg luggages. The curtains did not completely cover the window so sunlight would interrupt our sleep as soon as it was bright enough.

The location is quite good, easy to walk around the city.

No parking for our car in the hotel. They can accommodate only the compact cars.

The hotel really exceeded my expectations. Very beautiful, clean and comfortable hotel in a great area of Nagoya, with multiple convenience stores nearby and metro station as well. Price was excellent, great deal to be honest given the quality of the hotel. Staff were suoer friendly and helpful.

A great location in Nagoya surrounded but good restaurants. We were kindly upgraded to a better room which was very spacious and comfortable!

Good hotel with a good location. Room was spacious and clean. We booked a deluxe room so had a little balcony area too. There were all needed amenities in the room including hairdryer and curling tongs. It was a good hotel at a good price. The bed itself was very comfy and there was plenty room to hang clothes up etc. bottles of water were provided in the room too which was great for us as we didn’t find anywhere to refill our bottles. The pillows weren’t the comfiest and the hotel was quite noisy. We expected a bit of noise with other guests moving around etc. but at one point it sounded like the people upstairs were in our room! This went on past midnight so interrupted our sleep but we were possibly just unlucky with noisy people above us!

    10DeepanjaliPosted on: 4-17-2025

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Lovely size of the room and closely located to everything.

The delivery of breakfast in bento boxes which has to be eaten in your rooms as they don’t have space. We didn’t pick up our boxes even if we paid for it as eating in our room wasn’t a preference
